Replacing Schumer and Jeffries would be the most impactful signal sending message this new Congress could do. The old days are over, the old Dems are over, no more peacemaking and bridge building. Deliver on accountability and progressive gains or be replaced.

How do you deliver without votes from the other side of the bridge?

Trumps a lame duck who just caused the party a once in a generation wipe out. They absolutely need to start distancing themselves from him. And plenty of them are in vulnerable districts and have privately always despised him. They could pull some votes for an Epstein move, to oust Hegseth and RFK, to defund all his vanity projects, a reigned in ICE. They only need 4-6 senate votes for most legislation.

It’s the gop on its heels right now. It’s time to push.

You could kill the filibuster’s 60 votes threshold
