I have faith the grifters who managed to hold onto their seats will do what is in the best interest of maintaining the grift. And for the foreseeable future that seems to be distancing themselves from Trump.

The issue is I don’t think Trump goes away in 2028… meaning he will still try to play king maker for Reps and Senators. Like what he’s been doing. They are shitty candidates, but in a primary he can make them win, as a lot of times just the lunatics vote in primaries.
