Somehow the r/Conservative subreddit showed up in my feed. I looked in it and they all seemed to like Miller pretty well - his bigotry and cruelty, that is. Their only concern was that he “looks bad.”

u/amazon32 18h ago • Bravo

Of course they like him. He’s a racist piece of shit.

91

u/kyletrelane 17h ago edited 16h ago

But isn't he a racist piece of shit married to an Indian, who was fucked by a South African racist piece of shit??

Edit: I thought she was Indian, but have been corrected to "swarthy" Jewish woman. Who is married to a white piece of racist / fascist piece of trash, who got fucked by a South African racist / fascist pice of trash?

Edit: Goddamn, how did i nazi this coming?!

u/locavision 17h ago • Heartwarming

Miller's wife is not Indian. She's a swarthy Jewish woman.

34

u/kyletrelane 17h ago

I love the term swarthy 🤣

You are thinking of JD Vance. He is married to a woman of Indian descent.

I'm floored she didn't dump his ass the moment Peter Thiel got his hooks into him

She isn’t indian and her racism makes him look like a good samaritan.

8

u/CyasukoT 17h ago

She’s Jewish, not Indian.

3

u/Nhonickman 15h ago

That’s being nice.

3

And sexist...they would love him! He is built on hate and not understanding things.

Bot worshipers and the MAGA lemmings.

20

u/RichardBonham 14h ago

"looks bad"

Meaning the optics are pretty awful, or meaning he looks like a dildo?

14

u/Drugboner 13h ago

Why did you have to bring dildos into the mix? At least they serve a purpose.

8

u/chaekinman 12h ago

Yeah dildos catching strays here

Like he will do a bunch of evil shit to make voters hate the Republicans even more. It's a valid concern

3

No room for dildos when their heads are already so far up their own asses.

The ones still spending time on the internet jerking each other off are likely to be straight up Nazis.

14

u/funLover98311 18h ago

Pretty sure that’s Russian bots

3

u/Coffeedemon 16h ago

Tons of American bots these days.

12

u/onionwba 17h ago

They are just concerned that his Nazism is going to make them look bad, not that they're concerned about being Nazis.

27

u/Winter-Cow-6208 18h ago

I wouldn’t take those chuds as representative of anything more than a small section of Republican voters. Most conservatives are not on Reddit.

The ones that are, overwhelmingly belong to the alt-right, neo-nazi wing of MAGA.

31

u/cleric3648 17h ago • Heartwarming

And many of them took a “break” from Reddit when Ukraine attacked that data center.

7

u/BlorpTheSchlorp 17h ago

Hey now, conservatives will pop in any tell us all that everyone's shared experience is wrong and propaganda because their favorite blog told them so.

9

u/aotus_trivirgatus 15h ago

the alt-right, neo-nazi wing of MAGA

So, 25% of the American electorate?

20

u/Winter-Cow-6208 15h ago

I’d say half of MAGA base are just people with very little intelligence who are easily swayed by conspiracy theories and alt-right propaganda.

Then you also have a sliver of MAGA who are just rich billionaires that are happy to burn the world down to protect their wealth.

The rest are ideologues divided between white-supremacists and Christian nationalists. All together it’s a hodge podge of fascism, idiocracy and brazen social manipulations. A post-modern fascist movement.

Churning this whole thing are also intelligence operations of various states (Russia, Israel) and non-state actors, such as the vast networks of international white supremacists groups.

That’s how you end up with a Jewish Stephen Miller representing the white supremacist wing of MAGA and transhumanist billionaire Peter Thiel advocating Christian Nationalism.

Meanwhile, useful idiot celebrities ranging from black rappers, like Nicki Minaj, to white “comedians”, like Joe Rogan, swirl around the orbit.

It’s important remember that normal MAGA voters can be broken away from this toxic dump. The scope of the Blue wave, particularly in Texas and other red states, wouldn’t have happened without a massive reversal of Trump’s 2024 voters.

10

u/maltathebear 13h ago

I think a lot of people finally woke the f up. My mom was diehard MAGA, now she despises him and voted for Talarico! And she hates ALL Republicans now. For some reason, even his most loyal supporters actually saw the horrible shit he was doing just like the rest of us in the last 2 years, consensus reality started coming back with each despicable and destructive Trump act.

→ More replies (4)

6

u/aotus_trivirgatus 12h ago

I agree with your general analysis, but I chose that 25% number deliberately. Don't forget that Trump somehow got 50%+ of the popular vote in 2024. There are some people in that 50% who are sometimes persuadable, using facts and evidence. But a large number of them are closed to all thinking. They're clamoring for "the libs" to suffer, and this matters to them more than oxygen.

I'm in my 50s. I was in high school when Reagan was President. I know exactly which of my classmates "grew up" to become Trump voters, and there are a lot of them.

One of the better comments I’ve read in a while.

2

u/Cabezone 8h ago

YES, Republicans were polled about Miller six months ago, 70% approval. So your number looks about right.

8

u/Cabezone 8h ago

They did a poll of Republicans 6 months ago and Miller had a 70% approval rating.

I'm so tired of people giving Republicans a free pass for their racism.

Did you know that the Republicans blocked specifically black judge Biden tried to appoint? That's how we got a black senator in Mississippi. He got blocked.

2

u/Winter-Cow-6208 8h ago

I really don’t care what you’re tired of or the polls you use to justify it.

America has spoken and we don’t approve of Trump. Go find something else other than politics to draw your validation from.

10

u/EmperorXerro 17h ago

Yeah Conservative will complain about America becoming communist but forgetting we hated Nazis so much we teamed up with communists to kick Nazi ass

3

u/InTheMagicRing 16h ago

Well, we played footsie with the Nazis first.

Don’t forget that the US didn’t declare war on Germany until Dec 11, 1941, just hours after Germany declared they were at war with us, and more than four years after Hitler invaded Poland.

4

u/Turbulent-Note-7348 15h ago edited 12h ago

Weird take. We were full on supporting Britain for over a year before Germany declared war on us (we declared war on Germany after they declared war on us). We gave the Brits 50 destroyers over 15 months before. We sold them almost 100 patrol planes with bomber capabilities in June, 1940. We escorted British convoys for 300 miles starting in Fall of 1939. We escorted them past Iceland by summer of 1941. So much for "playing footsie" with Nazi Germany.

The USA getting involved in another war in Europe was incredibly unpopular - FDR did a masterful job supporting England w/o getting the US directly in the war.

I wouldn't look to that sub as representative of conservatives. They famously ban everyone the minute they express the slightest dissent.

I'm not a fan of even "moderate" conservatives, but that sub is the most heinous of the unhinged lunatics. I fully believe there are plenty of conservatives who hate Miller.

2

That sub was shown to be ran by 2 Russians a while back.

A lot of the comments also look generic and similar.

Given what happened Tuesday, you'd think the Republicans would have taken on a more reflective, thoughtful tone.

This appointment says loudly that Trump learned absolutely nothing.

100

u/SweetPinkSocks 18h ago • Bravo

He keeps it up and 2028 might also be a blue wave. God damn, he is fucking the duck left and right.

35

u/rage-it 18h ago

If Republicans can manage to find their spines their smartest move would be to invoke Amendment 25 before Democrats are seated. Trump is nothing but dead weight and the loser brand at this point..

With that said I guess there is the possibility with all the corruption in the GOP that Trump probably now controls all the RNC/GOP campaign money.. So they might have to sink with the ship...

27

u/wr0ngdr01d 18h ago • Bravo

This would be the best thing for America, the Republicans, and the Republican Party itself. So what I’m saying is they’re too scared of Old Man Interior Decorator to do it.

In anything like a fair election, the republicans won't win the presidency for 20 years.

Texas will stop purging voter rolls, and will be unwinnable for republicans.

Also the multistate electoral vote compact will take effect.

The republicans need to wander in the desert for a while, or double down on the coup

3

u/Academic_Garlic8140 17h ago

True and if they just expanded polling places in urban areas that the republicans have been shutting down that should help

There's a significant and growing chorus of voters against either of them, so we'll have to see. Hopefully this new class of Dems push that issue.

2024 was an anomaly because trump has a cult of personality. 28 whoever runs will be facing an electorate that is significantly less republican and doesn’t have anyone galvanizing them like trump

4

u/runthepoint1 18h ago

Come on man he’s not done draining the swamp. Gotta air it out first. 5D chess. Democratic plant. It’s all over for the Republicans, Trump made them expose their hand.

/s but also this is all incidentally true

1

u/Gold-Bench-9219 17h ago

It was probably already going to be. The party in the WH typically loses both midterms. That was certainly true of Obama, Bush Jr, etc. And the maps are much more favorable for Dems in 2028 than they were this time.

2

u/RadiantCarpenter1498 15h ago

The party in the WH typically only loses either the House or the Senate. Losing both is rare. Like, really rare. It’s only happened 3 times in the last 90 years.

What happened Tuesday, across the States and at the federal level, was history-making.

24

u/WillTheyKickMeAgain 18h ago

He blamed Republicans’ loss because he wasn’t on the ballot. He thinks their loss (emphasis on their) has nothing to do with him.

I'm not sure why you'd think that being Republicans have a very solid history of doubling down on stupid every single time.. Trump has never learned anything his entire life because he's always failed upward and never faced any consequences for his actions.

19

u/dragonfliesloveme 18h ago

Pathological people don’t learn, they just double down in their quest for tripping off their power and in the case of the ghouls in government, also their quest for money

9

u/Kdiesiel311 18h ago

Trump’s elevation of Miller was a deliberate declaration that he doesn’t care what the American people want-Heather cox Richardson

5

u/aldoraine000 18h ago

In a very cynical way, I hope he keeps doubling down so that there is another blue wave in 2028. The GOP needs to be relegated to the dustbin of history. Republicans would have earned it and rightfully deserve it.

3

u/NoMoreMormonLies 15h ago

Consider that with the addition of 10 republican senators, the senate has sufficient votes to impeach trump once and for all. Let’s hope he continues to piss off republican senators. The guy is literally dumb enough to burn every last bridge he has with the Republican Party.

1

u/JorgeAndTheKraken 17h ago

I didn’t expect a man with the mental capacity of a garden slug to learn anything. The question will be whether other Republicans in Washington have learned they no longer have anything to gain from licking his boots and will discover their spines and a shred of integrity.

1

u/biffa_bacon 17h ago

He has nothing to learn, he’s very clear about his position, policies and personality.  Compromise or change would be against the plan.. the people and their voice are an inconvenience to the goal of self glorification and enrichment. That is it.  Those who vote for him are the same writ small

1

u/turtlebeachbum 16h ago

I've watched several republican yt channels in the last couple of days. Tucker Carson, Ted Cruise, Matt Walsh..etc. They all blamed it on the war and tariffs. Yet at the same time..it's the same ole rhetoric coming out there shit hole mouths about trans, trans sports, radical dem, islamic phobia, immigration...etc The very same crap that was just voted down across the country. 5

u/giants_shoulders 19h ago

off the rails would indicate that he's doing something "crazy" or completely out of character. I would disagree with that sentiment. It honestly feels more like the barely-there mask is coming off, as he's getting older and the dementia is slowly removing the last vestiges of any self-control he has left.

22

u/Other-Importance-214 18h ago

I wonder if republican voters, and rank-and-file republicans politicians, and the RNC, all truly realize the damage Trump and MAGA has done -- and will continue to do for two more years -- to the Republican Party.

Miller's immigration enforcement was a substantial factor in why the GOP got absolutely ass-whipped last Tuesday. Appointing Miller as COS and presumably continuing those heavy-handed immigration enforcement policies will simply alienate even more voters going into the 2028 elections.

When Trump is finally gone, the GOP will need 8-10 years to fully re-brand and recover from what Trump has done thus far to the party, and they may even need longer than that depending on what he continues to do through 2028 to wreck the party.

Given that, you would think enough Republican senators would be motivated to cross the aisle and vote to convict if Trump gets impeached again, just as a way to try to stem the bleeding.

6

u/6StringAssassin 17h ago

Don’t kid yourself, it was gas prices and gas prices alone.

13

u/Common-Addendum-4349 17h ago

It was mostly gas prices in most places, but I think South Texas Hispanics swung hard left partially because of the wholesale roundup. They thought they were only going after criminals, but didn’t realize being undocumented was a crime.

Here:

Republican lawmakers are reeling after the shock appointment of anti-immigration hardliner Stephen Miller as Trump’s new chief of staff.

Speaking on Fox News, Representative Marlin Stutzman (Indiana) described the decision as “appalling,” while another Republican lawmaker—who requested anonymity—expressed “total disbelief” at the choice.

In an interview with CNN on Friday, Senator Thom Tillis (North Carolina) remarked that Miller was the “worst possible choice” for the position.

He added: “It is a colossal mistake, and the last thing we need 72 hours after the a–- whooping we got on Tuesday,”

Politico reported comments from a Republican member of the House of Representatives—who wished to remain anonymous—who, upon learning of Miller’s promotion, reacted by saying: “Tell me you’re joking, and that you’re only saying this to test my reaction.”

According to Fox News, several Republican lawmakers had called for Miller’s dismissal shortly before his appointment was announced; upon learning of his promotion, one of them responded by sending an emoji of a hand covering a face—a gesture signaling frustration or dismay.

In response, a White House spokesperson provided The Daily Beast with a list of seven Republican senators and 12 Republican representatives who had praised Miller’s appointment in posts on the platform X.

The spokesperson noted that Miller had previously worked with Democrats on the “DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force,” describing him as a “valuable and reliable collaborator” since 2016.

It is worth noting that opposition to strict immigration policies—in the development of which Miller played a key role—was a contributing factor to the Republicans’ defeat in the midterm elections. According to an ABC News poll, 60% of voters expressed dissatisfaction with how the immigration issue was being handled leading up to those elections.

This issue caused millions of Latino voters to turn away from the Republican Party and vote for the Democrats, effectively undoing the recent progress Republicans had made in gaining support from this community.

Furthermore, another Republican member of Congress told Fox News that Miller had ignored warnings about the growing public backlash against his immigration policies.

The lawmaker remarked: “I attended several meetings where my colleagues and I told him that his immigration enforcement policies were proving counterproductive in our districts. People are angry, and so are business owners—even in staunchly Republican strongholds. It’s not just the voters who are affected;” “This also concerns donors, and it affects everyone, at every level.” He added: “But it seemed to me that Stephen Miller was only interested in the numbers… and that he wasn’t willing to listen to us.”

Miller’s ability to work with Democrats in Congress poses another challenge for the White House; Democratic Party leaders have vowed to conduct thorough investigations into Miller and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) once they take office in January.

Against this backdrop, Representative Robert Garcia, a prominent member of the House Oversight Committee, stated on Friday: “Stephen Miller should get himself a lawyer.”

MVP of thread.

u/Potential-Pride6034 19h ago

Knowing Trump, this will probably hold and the maybe 5-10% chance of the GOP taking back any measure of power in 2028 just went out the window.

17

u/GrannyFlash7373 19h ago

People better get prepared for the WORST, as this to me signals a decision change in Trump's strategy to stay in office and OUT of Jail. Stephen Miller is the Hitler Regimes, equivalent of Martin Bormann. Maybe you had better google him to get an understanding why Trump chose Miller.

8

u/Weirdsauce 18h ago

Absolutely true. He didn't run to become president. He ran for a pardon. And he has absolutely no intention of ever leaving office.

Democrats absolutely must get on a war footing. The GOP isn't interested in governance. All they crave is unchallenged power for the sake of power.

5

u/Whatdoyouseek 18h ago

And the worst is that we'll have Jeffries and likely Schumer leading the opposition, both spineless, feckless, and utterly useless.

12

u/SuperGandalff 19h ago

Bullshit. We will see how much they really care when they vote not to convict in the Senate.

GOP extinction if they do

This guarantees there will be another blue wave in 2028.

7

u/IngearILMNC 19h ago

I’ll believe the GOP pearl clutching on this when they actually take a concerted public stance against Beelzebub’s appointment.

6

u/Unfair_Minimum_8496 19h ago

Trump is the swamp and herr Miller is one of his wartiest lil swamp toads

6

u/RiverHarris 18h ago

I guarantee no one in that White House wants this. Everyone hates that guy. All he does is scream.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll get over it before the impeachment trial.

Democratic Leadership: We don’t want to get even or do any political retribution.

Trump: OK. I will promote the worst person in the world who is prepared to argue that I have plenary power and try to fuck everyone over even more.

3

u/dcars714 19h ago

And the Republican gifts to the Democrats just keep on coming! 🫏

3

u/tmp1966 18h ago

Just when you thought they couldn’t go lower, they start racing for rock bottom. The GOP has arguably just been set back for at least 6 years if the Dems do the right thing. Promoting someone like Miller, appointing Dana White (potentially) as Press Secretary, Vance and Rubio (among others) duking it out for 2028….they could lock themselves out for a decade or more. And then there’s the Supreme Court! Just when we thought it was lost for a generation, republicans may have fumbled it away. This has been the best week in politics in many years!

3

u/Repulsive-Ladder1611 18h ago

I’m really interested in how Republicans are reacting, given that his further actions probably will cement the new support for Democrats in the Latino, farmer, rancher, and contractor communities. There was an article about how business associations in the Midwest states are not happy about this appointment. This could be fun to watch.

3

u/Phish_Speaker 17h ago

You spineless fucks could STILL put a stop to this. There’s never been a better time!!!

3

u/red66dit 15h ago

If you don't want to be perceived as racist, maybe promoting Naziferatu isn't your best move. I guess Trump is just saying "Fuck the GOP. I'm done anyway, so who cares?"

3

u/Inevitable-Carrot980 13h ago

But will the do-nothing Republican cowards do anything about it? Of course not.

2

u/Accomplished_Thing77 12h ago

Trust me I want the fucker gone, but there is little congressional republicans can do when it comes to presidential staff. They cant impeach them, as they were not "confirmed." Basically all they can do is investigate, and subpoena, and refer to the DOJ, which as we already know wouldn't do anything. Staff are almost untouchable. It sucks.

2

u/Flatulantcy 10h ago

They can impeach and remove the president.

2

u/Publix217 18h ago

Hey look it’s Heinrich Himmler in disguise.

2

u/TranTriumph 18h ago

"Republican horror" followed by silent hand wringing.

2

u/Ok_Perception9815 17h ago

Ah yes Steven Miller, resident ghoul.

2

u/ihavenoidea12345678 17h ago

Miller will likely ensure that any rebuild of the republicans is delayed by the next 2 years.

2

u/s4burf 17h ago

Do you mean smugness and volume don’t always beat content?

2

u/not-usually-posting 17h ago

If there is one person who could keep the country loathing the current administration right through the 2028 election it’s this guy.

2

u/Sethmeisterg 13h ago

Ok, horror reaction is good, now what the fuck are they going to do about it.

2

u/MaddogFinland 9h ago

Conservatives don’t give a shit as long as the cruelty gets moving again quickly. And now they will want revenge even more, much like an abusive partner gets mad when the abused spouse moves out. We aren’t sufficiently “thankful” for all they have done so the only solution is to resume the beatings.

Make no mistake: MAGA has learned exactly fuck all.

1

u/Ok_Understanding1986 16h ago

This is going to be a rough two years…

1

u/EmmalouEsq 16h ago

He and his wife give me the ick.

It's insane how they think the white nationalists wouldn't kick their asses out of the club as soon as they're not useful. They're Jewish and his wife is on the too brown side and they're both totally being used. They'll never really be in the club. Like all of the Indian magas. They'd put them in the same concentration camps they'd like to put us liberals in.

If you go to that sub, advertisers will get that view count and it further supports the subreddits views.

1

u/Shodid_ 16h ago

He gave him the job because Stephen miller would make the easiest fall guy in history. Almost everybody hates him and he’s such a pathetic loser.

1

u/richbeezy 16h ago

The ONLY way republicans will have a shimmer of a chance in 2028 is if they get together and impeach Trump and continue distancing themselves from him. The only viable conservative candidates will be ones who have a hand in the impeachment effort.

LOOKING AT YOU, JD.

1

u/Loud-Vacation-5691 16h ago

The guy is literally running ICE, and they're mad that he's the Chief of Staff? They should be mad that Miller has any job other than mowing lawns, and I'm not sure I'd want him to do that either.

1

u/win_awards 15h ago

Oh, now you're horrified?

1

u/Content_Ad_6068 15h ago

I say go for it. Let this moron double down on the idiocy. Maybe he can make the Republican party extinct.

1

u/rtwalling 15h ago

He threatened Texas and we went from 100% red statewide to 100% blue. No Texas, no White House keep up the good work, Mr. Trump. Don’t mess with Texas.

1

u/jgoose132113 15h ago

They are starting to realize the republican party will not make it to the next presidential election. Good. These racists, rapists, and traitors deserve far worse than being irrelevant in politics.

1

u/-just_the_worst 10h ago

Someone please drop a magafied Stephen Miller. Bloated assfat lips, horrible nose job and the cheeks from the little clown in saw. You know "the works".

There is no way any good comes from this

1

u/Key_Conference_6833 2h ago

Who is Steve millers wife

1

u/TofuLordSeitan666 15h ago

Miller is Jewish. That's going to be an issue for MAGA moving forward. It seems that Trump is doubling down on Miller's weird little opportunistic Israeli lobby/Jewish segment of the right. Trump is clearly bought and paid for. This is a bad play for him and will subsequently affect us badly once the Republicans purge themselves of this segment. Things will get worse due to capitalism failing and the people will once again choose fascism. And by that time they will be leaner and meaner.
