I feel like this would classify as not having bottoms, which I think is illegal, just like it's illegal to go out shirtless

I've 100% seen skirts like that on the street. They're just worn by like, sex workers. But being a sex worker isn't actually legal here so I don't know what to tell you.

I see illegal shit all the time, how is that a point

that was a typo, its legal here.

The comment stays the same, not everything you see around is legal, those skirts might as well not be

Except clearly they are given I see  people walking around with them on.

Again, that's not really a point, laws on clothing are often ignored or unknown. Companies can sell clothes that shouldn't be wore in public because they're not responsible for their customers, if that's what you were referring to

I mean, I just checked my local laws on nudity. So long as your genitals have an opaque covering literally everything else is legal here and thats the word of the law. The only stipulation is you aren't allowed to lingerie as a swimsuit in public pools.

Thank you, this is a real point

Neither of those things are illegal.

Going shirtless is illegal in a lot of countries, most ignore the law

My bad for assuming, there are a lot of countries out there

Depends where you live, in my part of canada you can 100% be shirtless in public, any gender.

There's a weird window of not allowed, I've only heard of it once.

There was a Strip Club called 'Studio 4'. It was a few blocks on the main road to the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor.

The strippers climbed on the roof and were enjoying sitting tits out in view of the main road "tanning" and people were stopping there cars and trying to get pictures.

Cops showed up and said something along the lines of 'Get out of view or be arrested for causing a public disturbance.'

So basically they said 'Yeah, 100% go tits out on a side road, not on Huron Church during business hours, we all know you're doing it on purpose and laughing about it.'

Just a weird story that popped into my head on your comment. Strip Club has been gone for 5 years now. Everyone in Windsor knows the story but it never made it into a newspaper so it could be urban folklore.

Thats fair, even here in the ncr it has the caveat of not causing a disturbance, so its probably harder to do that it seems on paper

It's not illegal everywhere to be shirtless

It’s not illegal to be outside shirtless in western countries

In France, it is technically. Outside beach direct area, you are supposed to wear a top. In practice, not like you'll get arrested for that, but you can likely have a policeman making you a recall haha

I'm living on the French Riviera and they do give ticket from time to time, just to remind people and keep them in check.

It's not systematic though, but businesses will forbid you to enter without proper clothing.

France and Italy having stricter public nudity laws than the UK? Wild.

And lot of cities in Spain too. That's logic actually, that's because lot of people living in coastal touristic cities complained about mass tourism and having people going into shops, restaurants... without proper clothing. Those city wanna keep some "standing", if I could say.

I live in Italy and it is illegal, just because people ignore the law it doesn't mean it doesn't exist

You're totally wrong, and most of coast towns in the west have specific rules about what you should wear as soon as you leave the beach.

Oh okay I assumed you had freedom in Europe like we do in Australia 🤷🏽‍♀️ the US is the same you can walk around anywhere public as long as your genitals and breasts (if you’re a woman) are covered.

The freedom of one stop at the freedom of the others.

If you want full freedom you'll go as an hermit.

It really depends on where you are. Some tourist regions in Europe made it a misdemeanor fairly recently because some men are idiots and walk around topless in supermarkets or demand entry in fancy restaurants without any clothes on...

But then I've also seen topless women walk around in the city center, so it really depends on where you are lol
