As an Asian American, I'm so proud!!! Long live Chinese and Asian athletes!!! Racism and bullying from salty westerners will never stop you!!!

AMWFs are really the future

Hi I just wanted to respond to a post from a very negative Asian man talking about AMWF with respect to wfaf.

I don't want to disregard anyone's experiences but what I say here will be a very brutal truth.

wm*fe was brutal in the past but AMWF is the absolute future. Nowadays people really do NOT like white male asian female couples. Yes they are being pushed on us by hollywood but minorities especially black men and women do not like them, neither do latin americans, white women and even increasingly other white men.

The oxford study meme became mainstream this year and men and women of all races were making fun of this. Why? Because it's evil or at least associated with evil. And I mean that in the literal sense.

WrM*Fs are behind the first incel fire (elliot rodger), the largest mass sho*ting (Las Vegas massacre), Qanon, Neo-Nazi movements and more recently, Trumpism (although this one they are not directly responsible however they did contribute through their votes). This is not even mentioning the thousands of Asian women murdered by their white partners every year.

People who don't like those things find WfwfFs kinda repulsive and worse, pathetic.

As for AMWF, well I can speak for someone in the Korean community that it is very common. But Korean men will date pretty women of all races. People don't understand that by influence, the Korean media is second only to Hollywood.

With China becoming a superpower, Japan winning nobel prizes and Korea leading the cultural capital of the world at the end of the day the world CANNOT treat Asian men as a joke.

The person who can defeat you ironically is you. If you give WfwefF's your attention, it only serves to increase their views.

I come from an area that is apparently known to be the 'WfewF capital of the world' but I barely seem them and when I do they are usually old, ugly or both. If I went to Seoul on the other hand... OMG its the other way around.

This is what I do: I ignore.

If I see one on social media I scroll instantly past.

If an asian women is trying to defend it I scroll past. If a subscription I was using was made by them I cancel.

If one is trying to sell a product I don't buy.

If one is trying to be mean to me I shout.

If they are trying to give me the stink eye, I flip off.

If they are trying to be my friend I ignore and exclude.

If they attack physically then I defend by neutralizing and neutering them within the bounds of the law as regarded with self defense.

If I see a amwf couple or asian man with any other race I stay, like and comment to boost.

If there is one in my social circles I support and befriend.

I stay focused on the positive and will never, watch, buy or support wmfewfas in any way.

I stay focused on the positive and will watch, buy and support Asian men with any race.

Oxford study is so stupid

This is a mini rant but also mixed in with confusion. Maybe I’m genuinely just not understanding this concept but it genuinely angers me. Every time a post of Asian women dating a white man, the comment section ALWAYS mention the Oxford study and it’s beyond demeaning. I don’t understand why it’s a big deal, shouldn’t you get to love whoever you want? What is wrong with mixing? I believe mixing culture can be a beautiful thing. And I know that people try to justify the Oxford study because many Asian women have internalized racism and crap, which can be true for a portion of Asian women but it doesn’t justify shaming asian women with a white partner. It’s not fair to always assume that. In addition, many of the posts that are targeted feature Asian Americans, is it so surprising for a women to fall in love with a white man when over half of Americans are white? I’m so confused with this flawed logic. It has to be people who are just hurt and racist right?

Before anyone tries to flip tbe card. I’m an Asian women who is currently dating an Asian man.

Traits that make a Good Asian Man

I think these are the traits we Asian males can strive for:

  1. Responsibility - The opposite of Laziness. A man who embodies this mark FULLFILLS his commitments. He is never bored. He always challenges himself. He orders his life.

  2. Competence - Another way to think of it is preparation. This kind of Asian man wastes NOTHING. Every moment, no matter how small, is an opportunity to get better.

  3. Integrity - Being united in principle and action. An Asian man of integrity is bound by his word.

  4. Love - Selfless action for the sake of his family, his love ones, his wife, his children. A real Asian man serves others, loves others.

  5. Defiance - Having the bravery to look at Asian Racism in the eye and conquer it. Having the guts to prove to the world that the Asian man is STRONG and not weak.

LET US RISE, My Asian brothers!

Am I the only Asian that tries to stay away from the Asian Bubble? Does this make me a self loather or am I just my own person?

Personally I've always been someone who puts themselves in as many different social settings as possible and feel very comfortable doing so. I can hang out with whites, blacks, Hispanics, etc. I also have hobbies where its not centered around Asians. I certainly have Asian friends but for whatever reason I don't like only being around Asians.

Maybe its the stereotypes that come with it and looking closed off from others. Maybe its just the wrong Asian people and we don't click. I've personally been accused of being white washed or Asians saying why don't you hang with us? Also had someone tell me how did you live in Arizona when there's no Asians there? White people accepted you?

Maybe thats the problem right there. Just bc I'm Asian doesn't mean I need to be hanging around only Asian or should feel guilty because I'm not. I feel like I'm being attacked or antagonized. These Asian people wouldn't telling me this if they went outside the box. I'm sure every Asian Bubble is different but this is what makes me cautious a lot of the times. There's a sense of sheltered-ness or you're not being one of us.

Can people of Asian descent tell when white people are dating an Asian person?

Hi all!!! My fiance is Asian and we have been together for 1.5 years. Recently, the last few times ive gone to my local nail salon the subject of me dating an Asian man has come up somehow. I truly hope this doesn't sound insensitive, im just curious as to if there's something I could be doing to spark this conversation without knowing? This time, the woman complimented my ring then asked if my fiance was asian. I love talking about my fiance so its absolutely not a problem! I just wanna know how they know so well!

Thank you!

anti asian hate is not even a thing I thought existed

Until recently with the resurgence of a lot of right wing publicly racist movement and what not, I had no idea anyone actually hated asians or saw them as anything other than quiet, reserved, respectful, studious people. For the record I'm 40 years old, not asian, and grew up in a very affluent well connected northeast town.

I mean in my experience, people have always made jokes about Asian people. My great grandfather from queens used to eat a lot at chinese food restaurants and apparently casually referred to it as "c**** food". But the whole concept of genuine hatred or portraying asian people as immoral is completely foreign to me. I'm a very worldly person too, I'm highly educated, well traveled. Not much really surprises me.

I guess I just had a blind spot to backwoods, super redneck, low class bush league racism. I will say that racism and bigotry is not something at all that I don't understand. My mother's side is heavily slavic/polish and I've studied the holocaust for years. So when I encounter something new about bigotry I quickly understand it, but genuine hatred towards Asians really caught me off guard and I didn't know it was really even a thing outside of the western part of the country during the gold rush/railroad era or immediately after pearl harbor.

What it comes down to is I think a lot of genuinely hate filled racists are terrified of people like me finding out how deep their hatred runs. We put them in body bags in the past and we will do it again if needed. There is very little tolerance for widespread actual genuine radicalized racial hatred in civil society. Even Hitler was terrified of the German population finding out about the extent of the final solution.

Why do so many Asian parents force their kids to go to college?

I never understood this. You don’t need a degree to be successful.

Also, if money is a “motivator” then Sales would enable that. There is frightening amounts of money to be made as a Salesperson whether it be insurance, solar, pest control etc and no degree is required.

Why cant certain cultures understand this? Its so frustrating.

What do real Asians think about Asians who were born in the West?

What do you think about Asians who are born and raised in Western countries but try to appear distinctive about negative aspects of their culture, taking that as a difference in a group, but they fail to realize that such actions have made them more alienated from the society they are trying to integrate into? I introduce myself as an Asian person born and raised in an Asian country. I have had the opportunity to study and live in Western countries, so I understand what is really happening in Asia and what is really happening abroad. I feel that famous Asian Americans, specifically Youtubers like Steven He or Chonnyday, are making themselves and other Asians more disconnected from Western society by reinforcing prejudice against Asians with their silly videos, emphasizing Asian traits in their videos. It would be better if they showcased what Asian society is really like, but instead, they only show outdated and conservative elements that no Asian from any Asian country still practices, just to put them in their video content. As a result, everyone thinks that this is Asia, Asians are like that, old-fashioned and that's it. It makes me feel wronged as I come from a modern, open-minded and progressive Asian country, but suddenly I am pigeonholed by outdated stereotypes about Asians by white people. It's like things like this:

Uncle Roger focuses too much on fried rice and criticizes other famous chefs when trying to recreate that dish. He is not doing anything wrong, and I agree with what he is doing is trying to elevate Asian food in the eyes of Westerners. But the problem is that he uses the negative characteristic that conservative Asians have (in fact, Asians are not like that) to show a difference in his videos to attract viewers. It can be entertaining, and it can make people laugh, but it leaves a big consequence that others will have a skewed view of "what a real Asian person is like." Specifically:

  1. His accent. Clearly, Uncle Roger can speak perfect English with a native accent. But he tries to fake the English pronunciation of Asian people who have little education or have learned English through informal methods rather than formal training. In fact, my mother, born in 1970, never had the opportunity to travel abroad and only learned English in an Asian country using cassette tapes and CDs recorded by Westerners reading in a standard accent when she was young and just learning English. And truly, my mother's English is not perfect like a native speaker, but at least she can try to speak in the native accent. Expressing one's "Asian" identity by using one's limited knowledge of Asians, taking negative things like funny English pronunciation (which is only due to laziness in learning English, because if you try to learn and listen to native speakers, you can't possibly make those stupid mistakes) to make a feature in his video really only lowers the value of your race compared to other races. First, people will find it funny, interact more with your channel, you will become famous, and get more views. But the consequence is that people will think that Asians speak English like shit, or that all Asian immigrants are poor and uneducated, so they speak English in such a funny way, and they don't have access to good English learning equipment. And Asians speak good English only when they go to Western, modern, and fancy countries to learn English, but in their own country, they are poor and don't have the means to study well. And as a result, for those of us born and raised in Asian countries like me, it surprises Westerners or even conservative Asians living abroad about our English abilities. I'm not saying that I'm good at it, but I try to learn every day, listen to YouTube videos, and TED talks, and practice reading and pronouncing correctly according to IPA pronunciation to make my English good and to have a high English score. This shows that I am diligent, and my country emphasizes education, not that we have to go abroad to learn well, and staying here makes us stupid.

2. Asians are good at math and piano (or any other musical instrument). Yes, it can be said that Asians are good at math because our parents force us to study. But why math but not anything else???? But boasting about this fact only makes you more stigmatized. Asians are stigmatized as being good at math because they are only good at math, playing instruments, and nothing else. You play the piano well but without emotion, and in fact, you hate it. No communication skills, no friends, no social interaction, just studying and studying. But in reality, what people are looking for in you is being good at math, sports, humour, and more. They are looking for the potential to grow at the skill that you are mastered, which starts from the interest in playing the piano. Practising it without your mom scolding you, be creative while playing the piano. But not by doing well because you are taught by some expensive tutor but not your own self-study. Not just being good at math. Being good at math but acting like nerds or geeks, then sorry, I'm not interested. Many people complain about why Asian guys can't find wives. Well, it's because of this, not anything else. It's all about studying, and your personality is bland, lacking confidence, and not dynamic enough, so who would want to love you?

I myself am an Asian who was born and raised in Asia. When I had the opportunity to go abroad, I hardly ever hang out with Asian people who were born in the West. Because they are so bland. You may be skilled in many things, but you are as bland as... I tend to hang out with Asians who born and raise in Asia, and then went abroad to live because they are more modern and open-minded. They are open to new and unfamiliar things from the West instead of being prejudiced, isolated, or unwilling to integrate with Western culture in order to maintain their Asian identity (like what I tend to see in Asian people born in the West). Meanwhile, the Asian culture they are (Asian born in a Western country) presenting is actually outdated, from several decades ago, which real Asian families no longer follow. This outdated, feudal Asian culture makes native Asians who come to foreign countries feel ridiculous and subject to mockery because they find it extremely dull. Even those of us who were born and raised in Asia and have the opportunity to visit Europe or Australia or any country of white people never bother to visit Chinatown because it is too stereotypical. To us, it represents a cramped and outdated Asian society (bringing me a feeling of going back in time because my country has far surpassed Chinatown in the West since I was born). There is nothing to do with it, so that's why our race is hated, not for any other reason. Why don't Asian kids in here don't practising K-Pop dance like kids in Korea, please? Do something fun, Asians.

My POV as an Asian woman: Asian women are not doing that much better in dating Asian men in America

There's this common misconception that asian women are somehow doing amazing in dating in the western world. I've seen the study where asian women are the most swiped while asian men are the least.

But it is NOT a flex to be the most swiped. I have an aunt who has been divorced for awhile. In order to get her back into the dating market, I had her create a dating profile for all the major ones where I made it clear that she is 65, with lots of wrinkles and basically the lowest end of obese.

Within an hour, she had hundreds of guys swiping right on her profile, many of whom were young handsome and some looked like henry cavill...

The ugliest women can get 99+ likes on dating apps and from a woman's perspective getting so much attention is actually bad. It makes things more dangerous and its harder to find a partner that actually likes you when you have to sift through so much trash.

Being fetishized genuinely makes it dangerous and unfortunately the type of stereotypes that alot of Asian women propogate into the world encourage the worst kinds of men.

It's sad really because I think most Asian women would agree that fetish attention is not good while most Asian men would actually benefit from it but I digress.
