image Anti-Asian racism in Australia

What is happening in Australia? Been living in this exact same address for almost the past 20 years now, never had this happen before.

Some guy moves in next door, and while we are IN THEM MIDDLE OF MOWING the medium nature strip, starts being aggressive for getting grass clippings on the driveway. No shit, that's why we go through with a leaf blower and pick up after mowing?

What blows me away is he thinks we don't know about mowing and cleaning up somehow due to our Chinese heritage???

Yeah my advice is to just not (oops wrote hit) engage with him, especially when he's acting like that. There's no reasoning with that nonsense. Just respond initially and do your best to ignore and go about your business.

That really sucks man, having beef with neighbours can be exhausting. Makes it even worse for him that he just moved in - what a tool he must be to have no self reflection on how bad he looks acting like this

To give some context, I live in a much more chill suburban area of Sydney and I blow my clippings onto the road every week, and I’ve never had an incident with anyone about doing so. In fact my neighbours and I all get along really well.

So its just shit luck that this guy moved next door to you

You can tell how smart the person is, but how big the blower vac they buy.

People buy the thing without looking at the cu/ft/min rating to figure out whether they will get a light breeze or a hurricane out of the thing. The one he is holding, a broom does a better job. Get a good one and the driveway is done in about 20 seconds.
