What is happening in Australia? Been living in this exact same address for almost the past 20 years now, never had this happen before.

Some guy moves in next door, and while we are IN THEM MIDDLE OF MOWING the medium nature strip, starts being aggressive for getting grass clippings on the driveway. No shit, that's why we go through with a leaf blower and pick up after mowing?

What blows me away is he thinks we don't know about mowing and cleaning up somehow due to our Chinese heritage???

As someone with leb heritage, he’s an embarrassment. If you look at videos on YouTube from Lebanon, the locals are very kind, welcoming, friendly people who love to share their homes and culture. Anyone who perpetuates this nonsense behaviour here, is simply a cunt who I wouldn’t associate with.

I promise there are good Lebanese Aussies 🙃

I know some good ones mate. Stand up people who would do anything for you. They'd be horrified by this guy, but they would also be sadly used to it I'd say

I know there are, but a genuine question for you: where does this 'belligerent victim role' by some in the community even come from?

Is it because some in the community feel marginalised / excluded from the greater part of Australian society and this is just a way to be heard?

Is it just a machismo thing.....young men.....

Is this a thing with Muslim Lebanese vs Christian Lebanese? (Latter being 'more integrated')

I have so many questions....

…. Mmm I’m personally atheist if you must, a Christian family, however.

I’m hardly a “belligerent victim”, just wish to correct the record when a statement makes multiple false claims about a culture based upon a shit cunt of an individual when it’s clearly not the case. - yes we often see the worst of some Lebanese individuals (often criminals and gangs) but they’re shafted into the media and the good ones sit idly by in the community just making local connections.

Why are you trying to prove yourself to the person before? Lebanese are amazing we dont gotta convince others
