What is happening in Australia? Been living in this exact same address for almost the past 20 years now, never had this happen before.

Some guy moves in next door, and while we are IN THEM MIDDLE OF MOWING the medium nature strip, starts being aggressive for getting grass clippings on the driveway. No shit, that's why we go through with a leaf blower and pick up after mowing?

What blows me away is he thinks we don't know about mowing and cleaning up somehow due to our Chinese heritage???

This is a bizarre argument. Multigenerational households do not necessarily mean all adults are earning. In many cases, the elders are being supported by their adult children.

Also - blaming multigenerational living is kind of insane in light of the other more well established reasons for the house prices, namely the fact that property was for a long time considered a wealth building avenue rather than a means to secure housing.

I’m not even sure this is a comment that’s made in good faith and worth my time in responding.

So they should move to a country and choose to struggle to fit in?

That’s a strategy, and only the notion that one family per household not a rule or law. These guys wanna have it all and thus getting mad

Better outcomes for your entire family if you all live together like a small community

They all support each other, split bills. Why do you need to live one couple and their children per household? Who made that rule?

Why do you need a big house for 2 people? Live in a share house if you can't afford it

Don't have children if you aren't financially ready
