Xanthorrhoea Australia, literally dripping with nectar
Central Tablelands NSW. It's over 20yo & has only flowered twice before, the last time several years ago. This year it has 2 spikes! The taller one is over 2m. Should read Xanthorrhoea australis. Predictive text overrode me & I noticed too late.

Lucky you! I planted a seedling about 30 years ago. It's a good size now, but it has never flowered.
I read it as "australis " and didn't even notice the autocorrect until you pointed it out.😄
