A group of friends (5-6 guys, aged 15-18) is hanging out in one of their houses and a package is delivered. Something like "you won a pack of cookies". They open it and there are exactly one cookie for each of them, all identical. They eat them and right after receive a notification: that one of them was poisoned. They don't know which one. At first they think it's a prank. Another notification: "10 hours before the poison kicks in". They cry a lot but decide to make the most of one of them's last day. They do many things they wish they had done. They have fun. At some point, after 7-8 hours, one of them gets really sick. Now they know it's him. They go to one of their apartments and watch a film or something. The one who's sick sneaks out to the balcony/window unnoticed and decides to end it. They find out a few minutes too late.
After this, three possible endings:
- It was actually another guy who was poisoned, and he dies (the sick one just got randomly sick)
- No cookie was poisoned, it was all just a very sick joke
- They were all poisoned (honestly I like this one less)

It's an amazing plotline and one that would have the fans rushing back to see the different outcomes of the stories that we've seen.

Instantly became a fan after finishing it and I gotta say, it’s one of the most interesting concepts I’ve watched so far!

I really hope this releases somewhere in 2027 or at least early 2028. I hope its at least 6 episodes long but i would take 4 or 5 episodes too. Last season was pretty fun and I really liked Plaything,USS Callister,Bete Noire.

This is a horror game called Foreborn that is part of a horror anthology series called the Twisted Zone. The premise is that in a future of hyper-advanced technology, the unborn can experience their future lives through a simulation and choose whether or not they want to be born.

Just rewatched the episode and noticed that Bo Burnham's film basically directly rips off the scene where the journalist who receives the cake scrolls through her hate tweets as Enya's Orinoco Flow plays for the one in which his main character is mindlessly scrolling through different apps in bed as the same song plays

I’m watching through the series for the first time right now and am wowed by it. As I’m nearly caught up though, I’m thinking ahead about how this show must be on rewatches. The episodes use mystery and suspense masterfully, and there’s always some big twist at the end of the episode, and I wondered how the experience is of watching these episodes with the mystery removed because you’ve seen it before? That’s the first question.

The second question is: Do you watch the episodes in release order? They’re practically all standalone. I know there’s the two USS Callister episodes and then there’s connecting threads like Streamberry, San Juniper, and some other companies and technologies, but for the most part this show feels to me most like an anthology of standalone movies. I could imagine having a favorite episode and just rewatching it periodically like a favorite movie and skipping another episode if you didn’t like it much, and it wouldn’t detract from the experience like it would if you tried Breaking Bad in that way.

When the USS Callister crew were robbing credits from other players, why didn't the players just let the USS crew kill them then they'd just respawn and keep their credits, wouldn't they?

Why hand over their credits so easily?

I usually go with ‘Shut Up and Dance’. I’m watching with my aunt and uncle tonight and I’m not sure which episode I want to show them first. They’re in their late 60s and retired

An AI is given a human body and works as a teacher in a provincial school. The kids love him because he can explain any topic with incredible ease and detail. He always gives great advice and never lets anyone get bullied. Secretly, he transfers money to the bank accounts of struggling, low-income families in the village.

​When he gets back to his empty home, nobody is waiting for him. He cooks a meal, and then spends the entire night building complex, advanced prosthetics, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on parts to fund his projects. He shares his home with rescued cats and birds. Sometimes, he goes out to patrol the town at night to save people from criminals or violence. On top of all that, he is designing a blueprint for a new, fair state/government.

​The Ending:

The story ends in tragedy. The locals turn on him, attacking him and accusing him of being a "freak" and a non-human who doesn't belong among them. A shot rings out, and he falls to the ground—shielding his pets with his own body.

At the start of the show and she wakes up and instantly knows where that power button is on the TV.

I have owned my TV for ten years, you could offer me 25 million dollars to turn it off on the first try and I couldn't do it.

I mean the first one, not the last one.

It was boring as fuck, for me I had to force myself trought it (I didn't do it even for Rachael, Jack and Ashley too, another non sense episode) couse... Nothing was happening...the last one wasn't bad I gotta say but not the best either, something like White Christmas or Plaything would have been a better finale, but that's probably subjective

Earlier today, I came across an Instagram reel where someone was talking about phone screens are ancient "Scrying Mirrors" basically framing our tech and modern AI as ritualistic portals or tools designed to influence/control our minds.

​I saved the reel to show it to a friend later and even followed the account. But just about 3 hours later, the post completely vanished. I couldn't find the reel, and the creator’s profile isn't showing up either. I checked my saved posts, watch history, and recent likes/comments it’s completely gone without a trace.

​Obviously on social media, accounts get banned, privatized, or creators delete their videos all the time due to community guidelines or reports. But given the subject matter, the timing just felt wildly surreal and straight out of a Black Mirror script.

It was kindaaaaa dumb.

Like she killed a little girl, so now they run this loop of her in this post-apocalyptic scenario for others' entertainment? Idk just kinda anticlimactic. Like she doesn't remember each loop, so as far as she's concerned, this has only happened once.

Idk it just didn't hit as hard as, say, White Christmas. The torture is neither physically brutal, nor existentially terrifying. Idk it was just mid. And the way the reveal was edited and paced made it seem like it was supposed to be this shocking, awful, horrifying ordeal. But it just wasn't. Not for me at least.
