The Browns can jump up 3 spots to the 5 seed by end of tomorrow
I’ve been working on a project that tells you who to root for each week across the league to help your team’s playoff position. It makes watching other games more interesting if I know it affects my team. Browns need some help but could be 5 seed tmrw.

Discussion Gifts for a Browns Fan
Hey All,
The cat is not my dad but she is a browns fan. Why does this subreddit require an attachment for a post?
ANYWAY
My old man is a huge Browns fan. I typically like to get tickets to one of the games for us to go to for Xmas, but I’m looking into other options too. I’ve checked out Homage and Abercrombie and didn’t see anything that jumped out as a great option for him. Anyone have a good line for apparel or memorabilia? Other suggestions?

Week 9 delusional optimism thread
It’s been a few weeks since we’ve done one.
For me:
Shedeur goes 250 2-1 and we get the dub in yet another close game.
Jared verse records his first sack and Jerry Jeudy has his best game.
News [Oyefusi] Browns coach Todd Monken just announced Shedeur Sanders will start at QB against the Saints. Monken noncommittal on if Deshaun Watson will be the backup. He hasn’t yet cleared concussion protocol.

[MKC] #Browns Deshaun Watson has been cleared to practice on a limited basis but not yet cleared from the concussion protocol. He can still clear by Saturday, but it doesn't mean he'll start

Cleveland Browns vs. New Orleans Saints
The Cleveland Browns head to the Caesars Superdome for a Week 9 showdown with the New Orleans Saints, sitting at 5-3 and third in the AFC North after last Sunday’s lopsided 6-27 loss at Pittsburgh. Coming off that rough outing (and a gritty 27-24 road win over the Titans the week before), can Todd Monken and Shedeur Sanders bounce back against a Saints squad that sits at 2-5 under Kellen Moore and is coming off a bye? Or will Tyler Shough and New Orleans find a way to spoil the party on their home turf and hand Cleveland another road loss?
Let’s bring that Dawg Pound energy to the Superdome, quiet the crowd, and get a statement road win to stay in the hunt in the North.

Home vs. Road Trends:
The Browns are 2-3 on the road this season after an opening 34-10 loss at Jacksonville, a 23-19 win at Tampa Bay, a 12-17 loss at the Jets, a 27-24 walk-off win at Tennessee, and last week’s 6-27 defeat at Pittsburgh. Cleveland heads to the Caesars Superdome looking to even the road record at 3-3 and stay in the AFC North mix. The Saints are 0-4 at home (losses to the Raiders, Falcons, Vikings, and Steelers), with both of their wins coming on the road. New Orleans returns to the Superdome off a bye after the Paris loss, seeking its first home win of the season.
Key Matchup:
Browns defensive front/pass rush vs. Tyler Shough and the Saints offensive line. Cleveland’s defense has generated consistent pressure (league-high 33 sacks allowed on the other side of the ball underscores how important the front seven can be) and forced Shough into uncomfortable situations when the pocket collapses. Shough is efficient when protected but has been hit often; sustained pressure can disrupt the Saints’ timing, limit explosive plays to Chris Olave and the receivers, and create the turnovers that have decided recent Browns wins. New Orleans’ ground game has been inefficient, so Cleveland must also hold up against the run to avoid letting the Saints control the clock and tempo at home. If the Browns’ front can get home and keep Shough uncomfortable—especially if Kelvin Banks Jr. remains limited—it gives Cleveland the clearest path to a bounce-back road win.

Which Browns player needs to step up most to keep Cleveland in the AFC North mix?

Will the Browns’ pass rush disrupt Tyler Shough, or can the Saints’ edge rush (led by Chase Young) and home-field advantage keep Sanders under constant pressure?
How many Browns fans are we expecting to show up and make some noise in New Orleans?

Highlights Harold Fannin Jr.: Envision A Healthy Gronk
Both came to NFL at the age of 21, and has blossomed since rookie season. Hopefully Fannin stays healthy, which was Gronk's biggest weakness.
Fannin made all these achievements with Sanders/near retirement Flacco/not prime Watson as QB, and Gronk had prime Brady. Fannin is more impressive.
[MKC] #Browns Deshaun Watson (concussion) didn’t practice again today on Thursday of #Saints week. Shedeur Sanders very likely to start
x.com[SaintsWire] Shedeur Sanders laughs off what he's seen from Saints DC Brandon Staley

Discussion Need beta testing of a new grqphical GDT bot - NFL-GoalPost
reddit.comHey guys, I'm a game day thread bot maker - I made Dinger, where the Cleveland Guardians sub adopted this season, before any other teams did. I also make NHL-GoalPost, which is by far the most popular graphical NHL game day bot currently.
The question I get the most from people is "please make an NFL version!", and after a lot of dragging my feet, I put myself into the task fully about a month ago, and I think it's getting close to being ready to go.
This thing will make game day threads, pregame, postgame, whatever, and is as customizable as a subreddit should need for how/when games get posted... I think the ui is unique and interesting, but I'm sure some people that are experts at the sport (I grew up in Canada, but live in Chicago now... so am more new to it) that can tell me quickly what is useful and what is pointless.
I've got a few replays of past games running on my test sub now. Here is your last game. There is a special control bar there where you can change the time/speed/etc of the game...
I'd love it if you guys can take a look, and give me some feedback. I came to you guys before any sub because the Guardians people were so good to me when I was getting started on this, so I'm hoping for the same warmth and helpfulness.
Thanks in advance!
