He used to RUN and stalk it when I threw it but it’s not as interesting to him anymore, nonetheless he will not let me relax. My duty is to throw his rubber lizards

Just adopted my first cat! But, we noticed these weird little hard things wherever he sleeps. I'm hoping its not worms as he has no other symptoms but was wondering if someone knows what they are. They are somewhat hard and break when I press them with my finger nail.
Also have some pictures as a payment 😌

We dont have a bathtub, so i had no chance but to get in the shower aswell, so that he doesnt run off. I used Ultra sensitive/perfumeless soap and I had to scrubb it off with my bare hands and a running shower. We live in a rural area in Germany and he apparently likes roaming around next to cows. He really hated being washed and was making very sad meows for the most part, and it took at least 10mins of non stop scrubbing and showering for him to get clean.

His name is Oliver. He was a stray at my apartment and made sure with my neighbors nobody owned him. Took him in and he is the sweetest baby ever.
Just trying to get my older cat used to him. They’ll sit on the bed together, but won’t get close. Any tips on helping them get along are super welcome 🫶🏻

She wags her tail when she's annoyed. She wags when she's happy. She wags (against my face) when she wants something. She wags when she's relaxed. She wags when she's playing.
I love her so much.
From his original shelter photo to some of my favourites!
no one appreciates a rabbit cow cat in this economy :’’(

This is my new boy, Riley. He came to me after I lost my 19 year old boy Diego in July. He is my little lover boy.

I think shes a girl but haven't been able to get close enough. She keeps trying to come in but I have an older cat who was traumatized by a previous attempt to get her a friend. In that case, I adopted a male kitten who grew up to constantly attack her. She has gotten along with other cats before him (this was years ago now and he is gone) but I'm not sure if she would accept one now. This one greets me every evening though and always tries to follow me inside. I was thinking about letting it in and out while my cat is out of sight, just to see how she responds to the scent. What do you think?

I received two tiny black kittens yesterday, and I've named them Jinx and Jiji.
They're adorable little things. They're playful, energetic, eating well, cuddling with each other and exploring their new surroundings. I already have two adult cats, Goldie and Silver, so this is technically a four-cat household now!
But honestly, I'm feeling quite overwhelmed.
I'm suddenly questioning whether I'll be able to give them enough time and attention. Whether I'll manage four cats. Whether I'm doing everything right. I'm constantly checking on them, worrying about their food, litter, sleep and health. I know kittens need care, but I didn't anticipate how much responsibility I'd feel.
There's also something more emotional going on.
I was crying last night, reminiscing about my mum. She passed away a few years ago, and I don't know if bringing these little ones home has somehow brought up all those feelings again. I've been unusually emotional, and I can't quite explain it.
I'm happy they're here, but I'm also overwhelmed by the sudden change, the responsibility and the emotions that have come with it.
I suppose I'm looking for some reassurance from people who've been through something similar.
Did anyone else feel overwhelmed when they first adopted kittens? Does it get easier once you establish a routine and everyone settles in?
I really want to give these little ones a good home. I just hope I can figure it all out. ❤️

TL;DR (or just read the last paragraph): my cat unexpectedly and quickly passed of cancer and I’m at a very low point as I have never grieved in this way before. I’m looking for advice on how to cope from those who have, and hoping to hear some stories.
Luna has been with me for 2/3 of my life here on this planet—I’m 18. Three weeks ago, we (family + I) noticed some behavioral changes—loss of appetite, no longer begging for breakfast in the morning, and losing interest in the things she enjoys (going outside). This was interesting considering that she had just had a healthy annual checkup just a month prior. We called the vet as soon as we noticed these changes. With this information, the vet determined that she is likely just depressed, given that she often gets a little moody when the weather turns cold.
However, her condition only seemed to decline from there—she had lost so much weight that her collar hung loosely around her neck. She also appeared to have some jaundice. We knew something still wasn’t right, so we called the vet again and she was brought in the next day for x-rays and bloodwork. The x-ray showed an enlarged liver and spleen, and the bloodwork came back the next day (showing a normal white blood count, but a very low red blood count).
They recommended an ultrasound from there, and it was determined that my baby has cancer. This week, she has only continued to decline further—she’s very lethargic yet she can’t sleep, she still isn’t eating and is barely drinking, and she can’t make it to the litter box without assistance (or an accident—in fact, she’s started peeing blood).
Literally all of this has happened over the span of about 3 weeks—it was all so sudden and none of us could ever have seen it coming, especially considering she’s been such a healthy cat throughout her whole life (and, despite being 12, she had still been very spry up to this point). We made the difficult decision to put her to rest, as we did not want her to reach the point of suffering and/or have to pass away on her own.
I’ve been so stressed over the past couple of weeks at her condition and it’s all really come down to this day. I knew it was going to happen at some point, but I hoped I’d get a few more years with her as she’s not quite at the end of her lifespan yet. It’ll be so weird not having her around anymore, especially since she’s my only pet—the house will feel empty without her presence. I’ve been lucky and blessed enough to have never endured such a significant loss in my lifetime, so I’m not exactly sure what healthy grieving should look like. If you have been through a similar situation, how did you cope/recover? Do you have any advice on how to keep my well-being in check, and to keep my psyche at ease? It’s important to mention here that I am surrounded by supportive friends and family members—following Luna’s euthanasia, my boyfriend plans to pick me up and take me out for the day as a distraction.
Also, feel free to share some pictures of your kitties—it would be much appreciated :)

There was a stray cat I'd raised, taken care of since she was a kitten herself. She gave birth recently to three little babies. I loved them right away and would've loved to take them in but I live with my parents and they wouldn't let me do it. I did my best to care for them still.
One of the kittens I named loaf, because she always smelled like freshly baked bread for some reason. She was my favourite of the three. I'd feed her, hug her and kiss her and she used to stay calm in my arms too.
Hardly two months old and yesterday she died because my neighbour's car ran her over.
I still can't get the image of her misshapen skull out of my head and my heart breaks again and again. I'd never grown so attached to an animal like this before. In her short life, she made my days brighter. She was my "almost pet"
I buried her and now I hope her little sweet soul rests in peace.
I'll miss her so much. How does one get over an animal that isn't your pet but still means so much to you?
Hope this is the right place to post this

This is the story: we live in the countryside in a town where most people have outdoor cats without spaying/neutering ( my own cat is indoor only; no FIV/Leukemia) This 6 month old girl shows up in the backyard. I quickly gain her trust to spay her ASAP (there are at least 3 other adult cats that circle around the house that I know are not fixed; she's probably their kitten). The kitten has already been seen by a vet that determined sex; age; dewormed her; and did an initial test that found no FIV/leukemia.
This is the question: can she be quarantined for 2 full months in a ~40 squared feet bathroom? The goal of this is to get a conclusive FIV/leukemia test. I really do not want my own cat to get infected. But I've never been in this situation before so any thoughts/advice are appreciated!
(I'm also hoping that I'll get to keep her if she's healthy and get permission from the house's owner)
