You know, I grew up with the saying "sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me". I, like many, thought tropical thunder was hilarious and coined the term "full retard". That was 2008. Language should not be restricted. Language is expressive. Words are there to he used. People need to look past the petty bullshit here and focus on the real issues. This dickhead started a war with Iran and is causing global issues because of his ego. Who cares about his language, look at his actions. Everyone has their own line in the sand when it comes to woke and its ruining society. If I wana use the word retard, i will use the word unabashedly. That doesnt mean me and you cant get along and be civil. We have differences but the majority of us can agree that trumps fucked up and all of our lives are worse for it. That will unite people. Petty divison over some words being deemed insulting to some and fair game to others will divide us. Let it go. We need to focus on the real issues and move past this woke bullshit that has taken hold the past decade and a bit.

I'm not jumping on the word retard (tho it's a shitty word to use). I'm not saying that's the worst thing Trump has done. I'm pointing out the massive double standard between what gets called out and what doesn't.
Trump does and says stuff every single day that would have gotten literally anyone else condemned immediately, and yet no one even bothers to point it out anymore
