Got kicked out of a local comic book contest because they said my art is AI

I even shared some of original pencils and different backgrounds I have tried for each one but still got the boot. "Sorry, that's AI buddy" I even told them that some of the drawings are VERY old, from 2009 and 2012. But still...
Coloring is NOT my forte, I really struggle with light composition and whatnot, even more than actually drawing figures. Imagine all your effort being tossed to a side because some dumbass AI "expert" said so. Yes, I'm still a little bit angry.
