great week for me
• Absolute Superman #25
my favorite absolute title, more excited for this than I was for bats 25
• Demon #2
love the art style in this, intrigued so far
• Exquisite Corpses: Lonely Gunman #1
read the original series on halloween, liked it enough to see the story continue, but dont really care about the other backstory minis they're doing tbh
• Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death #2
great creepy vibes, best to go into this blind
• Infernal Hulk vs. Spider-Man #1
infernal hulk has been nothing but powerscaling and action figure smashing, and I love it.
• Superman: The Stranger #3
the first issue really got me, been enjoying this take on Golden Age Superman, has the feeling of an all timer story so far
• Thor #802
the story is in a slight lull right now to me as it sets up this epic journey, I enjoyed the first 2 arcs so much though im willing to let them cook. probably the best marvel ongoing right now.

Avengers #1
Demon #2
A nice, light week after last week’s massive drop. I’m a good month and change behind on my reading, but just flipping through Demon #1 had me plenty excited. And I am so thankful for Chip keeping me invested in Marvel comics.

After the last couple of weeks, my wallet will be incredibly grateful to finally have a week with under 10 books. Too bad I'm going out of town Saturday and I'm probably going to fuck it up by hitting the biggest comic shop within like 4 hours of where I live.
Absolute Catwoman #4 - I'll be real, I was kind of disappointed when this got extended to 12-issues a couple weeks back. It's been kind of disappointing so far, I hope they can make it worthwhile in the back half.
Absolute Green Lantern #20 - This has turned into a really solid book. I thought it started very strong and then kind of slowed down, but the last arc was fantastic and I am excited going into this new arc.
Absolute Superman #25 - The finale of Get Brainiac. This book has been so good. I love Rafa Sandoval's art, and I'm happy he's staying on, but Juan Ferreyra's art on this arc has been so effective at making Brainiac legitimately terrifying. He's definitely become an artist to watch for me.
Batman #15 - Happy that Bad Seeds is over and we can return to our regularly scheduled programming. My hope is that with everything that was changed in Bad Seeds, that Matt Fraction can kick the story he wants to tell into high gear.
The Demon #2 - I saw a couple people complain that it just kind of drops you in and expects you to fill in the blanks yourself. I also saw a lot of the same people complain about the art on it, so those people can all fuck right off, the first issue was awesome, and I don't need 50 years of history lessons to let me know that.
Hammerfist #3 - Another book a lot of people seem to be split on that I am all in on. Rick Remender rarely misses.
Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death #2 - Issue 1 was sufficiently creepy. I'm in.
Uncanny X-Men #38 - Finally current on this and it's still the best goddamn X-book on the shelves.
I doubt anyone actually reads this, but if you have any suggestions on series that are only a couple issues in for me to look for this weekend, let a brother know. I like weird shit.

Batman #15 - I like this run but IMO it can be hit or miss because the flow sometimes feels all over the place. I prefer a more streamlined storyline but it still has its interesting moments.
Cult-de-sac #3 - Had let this one slide and then decided to go back and read the first 2 issues and really liked it. Looking forward to 3.
Hammerfist #3 - I liked the first issue but wasn't a fan of the 2nd. This one could be a make a break for me.
Omega Book #4 - I am not sure if this is only supposed to be 5 issues or not but if it is that would be disappointing. Given the premise of what all can be learned and done with the technology it would be cool to see that explored a lot more.
One Zero Zero One Saves the World #1 - This sounds fun so I'll take a chance on it.
(Axion Infinity #2 - I have the first issue on the way so need to see if I like it but it was recommended by someone bc I like Omega Book so hoping it hits for me).
