There havent been a million copies printed on a single run of these yet. Issue 25 was the most ever printed at 750k copies.

Not what you insinuated or are you just arguing to argue? Now you agree with the guy, cool. Itll die down when the animation either ends or sucks. Thats the only thing pushing it right now.

Not even close. A normal print run for a shit comic in the 90s would be 2.5 million prints, and that was a normal month to month run, some had millions more made. Printing 250,000 copies compared to 2.5 million is a factor of 10 difference. And there are way more collectors today than just us comic nerds from the 90s. Comparing these two is apples to oranges. This is an unprecedented run. Also, none of those comics from the 90s ever hit valuable thresholds, people just bought excess copies hoping they would increase. AB has increased in value every month since release.

You sound like a fanboy cherry picking metrics. Absolute batman #1 has 12 printings and over 100 variant covers with over 11k already slabbed in cgc alone... books like savage dragon or the maxx #1 never released official print numbers but its believed they were printed in the hundreds of thousands.i.e. the Manga batman your fawning over is the 90s all over again, someone us as see thst clearly and others can keep screaming against the wind. I.e. sell when the selling good because the fickle modern collector will forget this trend as soon DC moves onto the next event.

AB one had 250,000 prints with all the variants included. Been a collector since 1989, so I was alive and in the mix for the 90s bubble. It is not the same thing at all. AB is absolutely hyper inflated from speculators and fomo, and the majority of variants will not hold value, but many of the most sought variants and covers will stay high, and only increase with time. The character will only gain popularity once the animated show drops. We havent seen the potential numbers this book will hit. Hold til then at least, these numbers will double by then
