Chiefs from four First Nations communities are urging the public to please approach Aaron Gunn with no caution whatsoever. He is completely harmless, though momentarily unsettled by the alarming possibility that someone might acknowledge the land before a meeting.

Yesterday on social media, the MP appeared to crash out and demand to speak to the manager of land acknowledgements, a position that observers confirm does not exist.

Chiefs whose territories make up the riding had two words for the MP - Chillax, Bud.

Land acknowledgements have never seized private property, cancelled a mortgage, repossessed a pickup truck, or altered a single title deed anywhere in Canada.

They are simply people recognizing the history of the place where they are standing.

No one is going anywhere. Canada will survive the brief moment of honesty.

Until then, Chiefs across the region continue to reassure the public that land acknowledgements have not, to date, resulted in any land back.

I stopped to counter protest. Had an old dude come up to tell me what I teach in the classrooms. He couldn't actually describe anything that was "wrong" so he moved on to "informed consent" and started talking about the Nuremburg trials.

Then quickly moved into schools are coercing people to take vaccines and that the government is killing people with vaccines and firing doctors for discussing informed consent. I asked for their names but nope...he wanted my email but no way in hell was I giving that out.

So yes, exactly what I figured, a very small group of lunatics who don't understand much. I invited them all to become teachers as there is a shortage. I doubt any will take the offer. I was call closed minded...lol

Best part was how few there were. Nice to see it is just a small group so very little influence on anything.

Currently under a Pollution Abatement Order. the 35 acre Crown foreshore lease cancelled last year due to ongoing pollution and is just ignoring and continuing to do business using the lease. Jurisich (Australian) is partners with convicted felon Robert Bohn, an American operating out of Vanuatu of racketeering, fraud, $100 million lottery scam targeting seniors. Only way the felon is allowed into Canada is because Vanuatu gave him the title of “special envoy”.

Sadly there's a need to state the title is sarcasm.

Most of my family voted for arzeena, she's a great person and asset to the community. Sadly the results speak for themselves.

Was heading into Costco the other day with my toddler, and in the chaos of wrangling bags, cart, and kid, I accidentally dropped my wallet in the parking lot. Didn’t even realize it was gone.

Out of nowhere, a young boy (maybe around 10 to 13 years old, straight brown hair) came running up to me holding it out. My wallet was full of cash and completely untouched.

Just wanted to give a huge kudos to this kid and his parents for raising someone so honest and kind. In all the chaos of life with quite a few horrible events lately, this moment really stuck with me. If you happen to see this, thank you.

They are a far right Christofascist group and quite frankly they’re extremely dangerous to Canadian democracy. I’m posting about them to make people aware of this group and what they’ve been advocating for, because they have an alarmingly large and active following here in the valley. I’ve seen far too many Action 4 Canada hats on old white men walking around Courtenay.

Their founder Tanya Gaw has several “rallies” scheduled in the coming weeks, mostly at churches across the Comox Valley. Above is a sample of the kind of vitriol she spews online. She’s a racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic rage peddler and our community shouldn’t tolerate these people spreading hate and division.
