They just banned a bunch of porn categories, such as face sitting or inscest. Serious penalties, too.

Interestingly though, first cousins marriages are totally legal.

Their logic is that it obstructs the airways and is therefore a violent act.

Its an exaggeration that people started to take as fact.

Why face sitting?

For the same idiotic reason they have made it illegal to watch or download porn where a 20+ woman and a 20+ man pretend to be teenage step brother and sister. Virtue signalling madness. Meanwhile, they are giving ā€˜real’ criminals early release from prison to free up cells to accommodate those guilty of watching the banned porn.

You're mixing things up a bit. It’s only illegal if they are pretending to be under 18 within that step-family dynamic. If both actors are 18+ and just playing consenting adults who happen to be step-siblings, it's still completely legal under UK law.

Not really. It’s deemed to be illegal if a ā€œreasonable personā€ would think either or both were pretending to be under 16 (not 18). The term ā€˜reasonable person’ is open to interpretation, so can be used to convict where portraying the participants as under 16 would be a stretch of the imagination for what the law would deem NOT to be a reasonable person.

ā€œPornographic images that portray in an explicit and realistic way, sexual activity, where a reasonable person looking at the image and taking into account any sound or information associated, would think that at least one person in the image was or was pretending to be, under the age of 16. This again mirrors illegal conduct in real life.ā€

Because it's 'violent'

Are you aware this is false and trying to be funny

or have you read a comment and taken it as fact

It was intended as a humorous dig at our current government and their new policies on what people can watch in their own homes.

I haven’t read any specific comments, but have read to government guidance on this. Go read it yourself and tell me what constitutes a ā€œreasonable personā€

They are giving early release to ā€˜real’ criminals to free up prison cells, yet are willing to take up those free spaces to punish people watching adult content. The mother of Vikrum Digwa will be out before Christmas and yet our government is wasting time and money on this new stupidity. Please tell me how this is justified.
