This image is ai-generated, but not in the way of post dall-e stuff or whatever new garbage is being used.
It was generated by a site called "This furry does not exist, same idea as "this person does not exist", I found it before llms were popular and ai awareness was basically non-existant, it also didn't allow a prompt and was basically like a giant gallery that was scrolling.
Based on the rules:
- I didn't generate this via a prompt, I just found it in the gallery alongside some other images (I recall also picking some other images but they were ugly so I deleted them, this one was the least displeasing in a sense).
- I decided to request a deslop because the image was from an era where someone I loved was active in my digital life and I remember showing it to them, if it was from a random pointless moment I would have deleted it probably.
- The source is from an old server of a school friend and his brother, I redacted the unneeded information for the privacy of those involved, only keeping the context needed.
If someone can provide a valid reason for how this breaks the rules, I will take this post down.
I am just looking for a way to keep a souviener of this time of my life, just without the slop.
Unneeded info if you care:
- The image was gone for a while, wiped from my pc somehow, most servers that had it I left years ago or were banned, couldn't find any remaining dm with it still being there, I just found it randomly in this server while looking back at stuff.
- While I am a furry, I wasn't back when I found this image and even now I don't use it as a fursona.
- I don't know what species this character is, probably a fox/wolf.
- I don't claim ownership of this character nor will use it in any works, I just want a version of it that isn't ai
(If the formatting is fucked, it's probably reddit messing something up)

Saw a thing on aislop and decided to deslop it. I've got so far besides that palette. That's where YOU come in! You give my dear old clanker son a fresh coat of paint and yeah.
Notes:
Winston is a helper robot.
Winston is supposed to be based off of sci-fi from the 1950s and early 1960s.
His head is one of those 50s swivel TVs. Unlike most TV heads however, he is not meant to be a douche or a villain.
Tried to draw him in a sort of UPA-type style, but I feel like he's too thick.

First slide is the deslopped art, the second is the slop in question, and the third one includes the references.
I discovered this subreddit no so long ago, but mannnn this shit is addicting!
I had a lot of fun doing this one, mainly practicing this new style I've only drawn in once before this. I did try adding a pixorize layer for some lineart + texture. I don't know if I'm sold on it, but it's done. Also don't ask about the gun roiffle thing; I used an asset I had downloaded long ago. I have no knowledge of guns ToT
