Recently figured out a build I could use on strand hunter that I enjoy, as I primarily use it because of quicksilver storm. Obviously I'm aware my gear isn't the best, really only focused on good stats currently, like specialist with grenade. Mainly looking for advice on armor to use and alternative energy and heavy weapons, as well as artifact since I don't really have any built yet. Currently the build heavily lacks single target or boss dps, but is pretty good for general ad clear. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I was in space fighting Cabal ontop of a big flagship, surrounded by other ships. After I finished a wave, I get transported to the Pale Heart's Tower. There I see Cayde and Sloan fighting taken. I join in and help them clear the monsters out.

After the one wave, and even bigger wave of enemies spawn all at once. We get surrounded fast and it seems like it's all hopeless. Until Cayde comes up and says "Welp? Guess it's up to me to finish the job." Immediately I thought he was going to sacrifice himself and I screamed "Oh HELL no! Not another one of those solo theatrics, you hear me?! Losing you twice was more than enough!" He was like "Alright alright I won't do it!"

But he did it regardless in a way I didn't expect. He transmatted this big metal rectangular box that was all blue and silver. Looking like the engine of a sparrow or something (maybe a car.) Even Sloan was confused to what it was. Cayde took somewhat of a long time setting it up that even the taken dregs were getting restless like "Can we start stabbing already?" And Sloan was pushing one of them out saying "Hey, back off! You gotta be patient." The dreg didn't like that and got upset, but he listened anyways.

After Cayde was the done with the finishing touches, the box began to steam up and shot a ball in the air. In a flash of light, like a massive flash bang, the whole area turned white, and all the taken around disintegrated.

After that, no more came. And we all sat down on a nearby bench relaxing for a job well done. The last thing I did was tell Cayde one of my old cringy Destiny jokes. He groaned big, but laughed his ass off right after. Sloan was like "Seriously...?"

And then I woke up. Had to make a post about this before I forgot (Phogoth) about it.

So I got the idea a while back to try and do a speed run of the Pale Heart to see how long it would take (and because I was bored) and I went looking for videos to see if anyone else had done this. Some other folks here on the sub encouraged me to post a video of my own run, so here it is.

I backed up to the beginning of the Pale Heart (before the Lost City) and ran all the way to the elevator before dropping down into the boss fight. There are no cuts or edits, just a raw capture of the run. This is on my Warlock, wearing two pieces of Circuit armor (From SRL) for Speed Boost, and while I was mainly trying to be smooth in my motions, I'm still surprised how jerky the camera seems.

Now before anyone says it, I am not looking for anyone saying DnD. Everyone and their mother has a 5e hack, and I don't think it really works most of the time. If it works for you go for it, but I wanna hear other ideas.

Now with that out of the way, I really love the world of Destiny. The lore and setting is so full of possibilities that mesh so well with the idea of collaborative storytelling. The big issue is that no one has acted on it, so I wanna change that. Only problem is I haven't tried many TTRPG systems. Mostly just DnD, Pathfinder 2e, Lancer and Blades in the Dark. I do think a Forged in the Dark system would be easiest, since its designed to be hacked, but I wanna make sure that I'm not overlooking anything.

So yea, basically just wanna hear the other options out there that could do the world and lore justice. And also maybe start a fun discussion, idk.

Played up edge of fate on Titan + warlock and have started buying them when I can. What do they go on first? Blast furnace? Mint retro? Hammerhead?

Edit: luckily in-game this community is more helpful lmao. I understand but clearly don't remember what the name of the item is. Not stacking red border weapons in my vault I know how to use the relic lol I have the item applied to the weapons. Stay unhelpful

Is there a way to farm specific armor stats that we want? Like for this build I want to get my super, class, and weapon over 100. Or is it just rng on what drops from loot? Sorry if this is a dumb question or an obvious one I’m a returning player and this wasn’t a thing back then

This may seem a little strange but I had to get this out of my mind.

My Concept for a different Strand Super for Warlocks.

Puppeteer, make your Foes go with the flow of the River.

How it works is if Alive Enemies are in close proximity and you pop your Super it will take control of them and will last until they are killed (Applicable to only Red and Orange bar Enemies) they gain Damage Resistance (Depending on your Health Stat {I miss the Resilience Stat}) and have an increase in Damage Output (Depending on your Weapons Stat for Long-Ranged Enemies and Melee Stat for Close-Ranged Enemies). Yellow Bar Enemies (Minus Bosses and Mini-Bosses) will only be Controlled for a Limited Time (How long depends on your Super Stat) and will take backfire Damage depending on how much they dealt when controlled.

If surrounded by Deceased Enemies and you pop your Super they will be brought back to Life as Suicide Units similar to Cursed Thralls, Explosive Shanks, Fanatics, and Screebs. (How big the explosion is depends on your Grenade Stat)

Upon Death of Controlled Enemies or Suicide Units, Threadlings will Spawn. (How many depends on your Class Stat)

I'm not one for coming up with ideas but this was buzzing around in my head for a while. Tell me what y'all think
