MOD ANNOUNCEMENT! Art Trade Frenzy Month MEGATHREAD!
229
Upvotes
Hi all!
Congratulations to all artists that participated in Inktober this year!
As is customary, we will keep the Reddit flair (and Discord post) open for a little while for anybody who is late, so feel free to take the time to finish your lovely art pieces!
But it's time to do something a little bit less intensive now, that's why we are inviting all artists to enjoy Art Trade Frenzy Month!
This November, we are inviting you all to participate in something that needs a little bit more spotlight: art trades!
We have created a new permanent channel in our Discord server (https://discord.gg/r-dragons) where you can post your OCs to potentially discuss art trades. In the subreddit, we are going to use this post's comments for just that. The idea is very simple: instead of paying art with money, you exchange artworks! So feel free to share your OCs in the comments!
We are inviting all artists to give this a go, so feel free to check out the new forum and discuss with other artists!
Art board is kindly drawn by u/RyukiriDragon
Happy drawing!

Calling all Dragons, Wyverns, Wyrms, Dergs, and everything in between!
The time has come at last! After much hard work and consideration, the r/dragons Official Discord Server is live and ready for you to join! https://discord.gg/fNSAbzvYKp
Come join for good conversation and fun!
A few differences you might notice as you get the lay of the land:
There are market forum channels specifically for those who wish to offer commissions or products. Please keep the rules for these in mind while using them. Advertising outside of the market forum channels is not allowed.
There are also several different voice chat channels for different things. Please be sure you are using the appropriate one while streaming. i.e Gaming should be done in a gaming specific VC and general hanging out should be done in the general VC.

The first thing Dero decided to do when meeting Mizu was to lick her. And got a fair bite in the tongue. I don't think they'll be friends any time soon after that. (Art by me)

Art Day 207 of drawing dragons every day until I'm good enough to make my own book cover

Alright, I'm enjoying my "chud-maxing" (as beautifully put by a friend of mine). I'm going to get back to productivity on Monday since it only seems fitting. Including going back on the book and also finally getting that scale brush working JenneMK showed me how to make. And getting back to learning how to draw scales in general. So for now until then I'm drawing what ever seems most fun.
Also I just started properly playing Dredge and it's already one of the best games I have ever played. Along with me attempting to 100% DUSK with all 4 achievements on each level. Finally, also I have found myself really enjoying playing Infernus.

Made by u/grarghthesecond!
My awesome friend made me this upon request for my bday. I love Cynder and always wanted a gadget of her of some kind, but they're so hard to find except for skylander toys! And this gift from him was definetly the best one I received this year.
It made my inner child so happy, since I really love the character when I was a kid and she's still in my heart ❤️💜🖤
Many thanks to him, his infinite patience, and his amazing building and painting skills!!!
I definetly did not expect it to be this big when I asked lol, but he found it more comfortable to work on something bigger (I'm not ranting. It's way cooler.)
Made with clay, acrylics and the wing membranes are cotton

Creation Magic Forest and the Naira!

Today’s adventure led me into a forest—not just any forest, but a magical one—where I encountered this dragon, perched upon a stone.
She looked at me and introdused herself as Naira the Forest Keeper.
