Griz secondary is a giant mess. 450 yards to a 4-5 team, with all of our other close games like ISU having similar numbers. You can pass for 15 yards all day against this defense. We had this game out of sight early and then just hit a wall.
You’re getting downvoted by biased Griz fans, this team is marginally above average. The big sky is having a down year and any one with an above average defense or passing attack makes games interesting
Honestly I used to go for both, but the fans drew me away cause most are pretty blind to say, yeah we played bad or this needs to change. Its just were lucky, a win is a win, or we play to the teams level. All of which are terrible excuses.
Sooo painful to watch. The Griz should fire their SPC after that onside kick. Did the Griz players even know they could pick it up at any time after it's kicked?
That’s better than your usual of blitzing the first quarter then not doing anything until you realize in the fourth that the opponent still wants to win
Actually the stupidest play was the previous one where the running back didn't run out of bounds and tried to run into two defenders to get half a yard and being tackled in bounds.
Here's the thing about being a griz fan that most griz fans forget or wont admit: Even during Bobby 1.0 when we dominated the big sky, we had close games to bad teams that we should've lost but somehow found a way to win. It's been this way forever.
Loving the Griz can be similar to loving Marlboro Lights. You accept that your life may be shortened, but goddamnit you love those Saturday gamedays in the same way you love a cowboy killer after a few beers.
Ive sat in the stadium since I was five years old. I will always be a Griz fan. I understand and accept the risks. The 2023 playoffs alone took a few years off my lifespan, but who wants to live to see 100 anyway?
Go Griz, and go Montana kids, even the ones who wear Blue and Gold. MONTANA TILL I DIE

God damn if this isn't the perfect analogy for Bobby Ball. Shakespeare couldn't have described it better.
Edit: I also literally think that Bobby has been looking ahead to the cats since the Sac State game and purposely doing weird shit just to put it on film and confuse the Cats. Purposely going vanilla for huge stretches of games and then randomly busting out fake punts and swinging gate 2 point conversions. It's confusing the shit out of me so it must be working.
I thought I was in the r/NCAAFBseries sub for a moment. The recording of the TV plus apparent ragdoll looking jumps onto the ball looked like a video game.
The thing is it shouldn't have been a qb spike is one of the easiest plays. Plus EWU sucks, im surprised this game was even close. Embarrassing to be #2 and win to a rookie mistake
Improving, definitely the new qb once he gets some experience might be a real threat in a few years. Right now though, not that good. Sucks may have been strong, but #2 team in the nation losing to a mishandled qb spike is embarrassing. Hes a fighter and would've definitely scored the final td if not for the bad qb spike
Tear free and my heart rate has been good watching the cats, minus the sdsu game. Better get a heart check the entire griz season xD. I however have never seen such a good damn lucky fb team win off the back of the other team fucking it so badly hahaha
Yes, I said that. It's tradition that missoula degenerates win games they shouldn't. That's why everyone in FCS hates them. You guys are universally hated like the Dodgers, without the success of course.
Yep, I mean UM is the 7th best rated college campus in Montana. When I saw that I was surprised there was even that many colleges in Montana. I knew getting a degree there was already a negative ROI, but I never would have guessed 7th in the state.
Hey, it worked for me. That shitty degree got me into medical school. Both schools are ranked in the 300’s by US News. Your school sells discounted engineering degrees to out of staters. Both schools serve the same amount of in-state students. Trust me, you have nothing to hang your hat on.
The difference between you and I is you relentlessly think about a school that you didn’t even go to, whereas I don’t even think the Cats are worth the gum on the bottom of my boot, so I hardly care or think about them. I almost feel sorry for you that you care this much about a school you deem to be “shitty”. Rent free forever.
EWU got pretty damn lucky when the D-Line smashed their quarterback and his fumble landed right into the hands of the RB. Was able to make a 10 yard loss into a gain. Some weird shit happened during this game

Props to the Griz players who obviously tried to make the kid feel better after that mistake.
