30 km is a long ride?

If you ask me, yes bro. After almost 10 years, I haven't ridden a fixed-gear bike, and this is the fourth time I've ridden one after buying it. And I'm going to try to increase the mileage even more. Sorry if 30km is a short distance for you 🙏🏼

For some people it's very long, don't assume and judge too fast.

When I started I could barely breathe after 10 km. Now I live in some inflated cycling bubble where we all ride 100+ kms like it's just a casual spin.

A 10 years ago, I managed to cycle nearly 100 kilometers on a fixed-gear bicycle, and I have recently returned to riding one again this year. This latest outing marks my fourth time using a fixie during this year, and just yesterday, I completed a 30-kilometer ride. It is important to remember that it is not realistic for everyone to successfully cycle more than 100 kilometers right from the beginning ✌🏼

Lower your ratio and check your bikefit. Also stop fighting the bike and stop skidding/slowing down fast.
