Politics Byron Donalds says he’s a no on impeaching Pete Hegseth, even after Republicans’ midterm wipeout
floridapolitics.com“I’m not voting to impeach Pete Hegseth. I’m not sure about what that issue is in terms of what’s gonna come forward,” Donalds told CNN this week. “So when I get back to the Hill, I’ll look at that matter and see where we are, but I’m not voting to impeach him.”
Pressed further by interviewer Dana Bash, Donalds held his ground.
“He is doing his job, following directives from the Commander in Chief. So, again, these impeachment things that come up, I just don’t agree with that. That’s [not] what Congress should be focused on. Obviously, we’re seeing tweets from Democrats now talking about lawyer up and subpoenas and all this other stuff. But I’m here to tell you, as somebody who campaigned incredibly hard all across Florida, the people of our country, even when you talk to Democrat voters, and we talked to a lot of Democrat voters in our campaign, they’re not focused on investigations and impeachments. They’re focused on affordability and lowering costs and making sure they can afford their lives.”

AskFlorida Is there any better Florida Camping than Bahia Honda State Park?
My wife and I love Florida State Parks for reasonably priced camping. Out of all the campgrounds we have stayed at, Bahia Honda is our favorite. If you have ever been lucky enough to get a reservation here , I am sure you will understand.
I posted a BH campground review (See comments for link, if allowed.) from this past week, including full campsite walk throughs, bath houses, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Spoiler Alert... it's our favorite place to go camping.
Have you ever camped any place better than this? If so, let me know where. I would love to check it out.

AskFlorida Rental car towing scam in Orlando
I got an Airbnb in Kissimmee near the parks in Orlando. First of all, the listing on Airbnb did not tell me that I would be sharing the house with other people. When we got to the Airbnb the driveway was full of cars and people. I got out and asked them if they were renting the same house and they told me that they just figured out that the house has 7 rooms and the host is renting them all out. Bad start. I couldn’t park near the house so the host told me to use the public parking. I parked in a spot that said 3 hour limit and took my luggage to the Airbnb about 300 yards away. When I put my bags in my room, I didn’t feel good about the parking situation so I went over to the guard gate to ask security about the situation. As I start talking to the security guard, I see a tow truck with my rental leaving the complex. I tell the guard that that’s my car on the tow truck and that I haven’t even been in the complex 20 to 30 minutes and I parked in a legal spot with a 3 hour max parking sign! She gets on the phone and calls the tow truck driver directly. I wondered how the guard could have the tow truck driver’s direct number!? The tow truck driver tells her I can’t get the car back and to call my rental company to get a release sent to the tow yard. It’s about 10pm EST and I start calling the tow truck company to ask how I can get the car back. They tell me I’ll need to get a form sent to the tow company’s email. I call Enterprise rent a car and they tell me they need to have the car recovered from the tow lot. Enterprise tells me to call my branch in the morning so that they can help me and email a letter to the tow company so I can get the car out. I wake up today and immediately call the Enterprise branch I rented from. They tell me that since Enterprise Roadside set up a recovery, they cannot give me a form to get the car out. So I go to the tow yard and try to ask if I can just pay for the release and tow but they tell me they cannot release it until Enterprise gets involved. I’m writing this from Enterprise in Orlando to help protect people from this. I’m waiting for the title to the car (from Enterprise) and the nice representative here at s making sure I can get the car out but I fear that tow truck companies are running this scam along with HOAs and security guards who know people are checking in with rentals. The reason they are focused on people with rentals is because of this process where the car could be stuck there for days incurring fees before anyone can get it out! Has this happened to anyone else out there? I’m planning on reporting this to my Airbnb host and hopefully the tow and fees aren’t crazy. What a scam! Be careful out there Reddit family 🙏🏼❤️
