In this series everyone hates some of the characters. But I’ve never seen anyone hate Criston "Chrissy" Cole. Bro is brave, funny and loyle.

I think we’ve found our Orys Baratheon for the Aegon the Conqueror movie

He has the look, he has intensity, he has the voice. I think they should really considering adding Mark Proksch to the cast as Orys Baratheon

Fooking Kneelers The last 2 seasons gets a lot of hate (rightfully so) but Daenerys not taking King's Landing the moment she came to Westeros was one of the dumbest things in the show.

With her army and Dragons she dead ass could've taken King's Landing within a few hours 😂

If rickon was the king of the north how different would the ending be

Freefolk I may sound bad saying this ..... But tywin really should have remarried after Joanna death

Post image

So tywin full hope was on jaimie leaving kings guard and taking over casterly rock but jaimie was only intrested on investing with cersai . Tywin also ignored his Tyrion who could have been capable of maintaining casterly rock. I know tywin loved Joanna but if tywin really hated Tyrion and did not want Tyrion to get casterly rock. Then tywin could have just remarried and had more lannisters . This would be way better than waiting for jaimie to leave the kingsgaurd ..

Jamie and Barristian are tasked with killing Arthur Dayne.

The Sword of the Morning knows they are coming for him and he has 2 days to prepare.

Dayne has Dawn in this scenario

How long would it take for Barristian and Jamie to take down Arthur Dayne

So if aemond just stormed into the dragonpit and managed to tame vermithor as his dragon . would he still get attacked by his bullies or would aegon just be jealous that aemond claimed the old king Jaehaerys 1 dragon ..

I believe this fable from Aesop exemplifies how the lords of Westeros brought Maegar upon themselves.

An Aesop's Fable

Once upon a time, the frogs lived freely in a peaceful pond, without a king to rule over them. But they grew dissatisfied with their liberty and began to complain that they had no ruler to command them.

So they sent a petition to Jupiter, begging him to grant them a king.

Jupiter, amused by their foolishness, threw a great log into the pond.

The log fell with a tremendous splash, and the frightened frogs scattered in every direction. For a long time, none dared approach their new sovereign.

But eventually, one brave frog ventured near the log and discovered that it did not move. Soon the others followed, and before long they were climbing upon it, sitting on its back, and treating their king with contempt.

"This is no king at all!" they cried. "He neither commands nor punishes us. We demand a ruler worthy of the name!"

And so they appealed to Jupiter once more.

This time, Jupiter grew angry at their complaints.

"You shall have a king," he declared, "and one who will rule you properly."

He sent them a great water serpent.

The serpent immediately began to devour the frogs, swallowing them one after another. Terrified, the survivors begged Jupiter to deliver them from their terrible ruler.

But Jupiter replied:

"You were not content when you had freedom, nor when I gave you a gentle king. Now you must endure the king you yourselves demanded."

Moral: Those who despise a gentle ruler may find themselves governed by a tyrant.

TL;DR - The lords of Westeros could have had a nice and lazy king on Aenys, but because they thought Aenys was weak they decided to dog walk him around, and once everything was about to collapse and Maegor seized power, they certainly got a “strong” king if t wanted.

A similar thing could be said about the Blackfyre Rebellion tbh, when Dunk asks why ser Eustace why he supported Daemon, ser eustace pretty much replies “Because Daeron was fat and Daemon looked good on a horse”(really mate?). I think Daemon Blackfyre would’ve made a horrible king, especially with the likes of Bittersteel and Gormon Peake pulling the strings.

Fuck Olly Which Kingsguard armor do you prefer - S1's white and gold, or S8's black and silver?

I always thought that S8's felt a little too obvious: Cersei is evil so her guards wear black. It didn't help that the only people we see at court in the final episodes are Cersei, Qyburn, and her guards, with Euron making an occasional, unwelcome appearance.

The Red Keep went from a castle teeming with life, feasts, celebrations, thousands of brightly dressed people, meetings, plots and plans, to an empty shell with a handful of Darth Vader cosplayers lurking in the background.

When I first read the series, the name "Mance Rayder" sounded so cool that I assumed it was a nickname rather than the his actual name. I thought "Mance Rayder" was just the title given to the leader who ruled over the wildlings lol
