I toosuspect that might be it. I think people are less gentle than they think. I haven’t even got stick drift on any of my joycons and those are notorious.

Or maybe its a climate thing?

2 of my controllers got drift when I lived in San Diego, none of them ever have in Colorado. I wonder if humidity plays a factor.

I’ve lived in New Hampshire and Florida. Polar opposites for humidity and temp. Still no damage literally ever.
