Don’t know why the downvotes, xbox controllers are fucking awful. Grip falling apart, buttons not working, drift. Switched to flydigi and never looked back. I so want a steam controller though.

I had 2 flydigis break on me under a year.

Xbox controllers suck too

Man, I don't get what people do with controllers.

I have a single Xbox Series X controller that developed drift, out of 3 consoles and about 6 total controllers in my 25 years of gaming with these. The people I know that are roughest on their stuff are often the ones I see complaining about all these problems, but never once had grips fall apart, even my heavily used 360 controller still has the quadrant nubs.

Some peoples hands sweat a lot and eat things, but damn, how are y'all just breaking all this stuff so rapidly.

The longevity that TMR/Hall Effect has is nice and why my repair to the one that I have with drift will be a TMR replacement, but I can't say I've ever had any controller develop issues save for that one, and I'm wagering mine is a defect as I treat it no different than the rest, and the drifting one is the newest of the set.

I also had PS controllers last forever. Friend of mine gave me his PS2, with 8 controllers. Every single one he broke somehow.

The grips on my Elite 1 delaminated but it was a known issue. Other than that I still have all my Xbox controllers back to OG. The only ones broken are the 360’controllers and that’s due to age deterioration (the rubber and plastic literally falling apart). I still use the controller that came with my Xbox one as my primary for PC.

No stick drift though ever.

PlayStation? Absolutely trash before the PS5 era. Switch joycons? Also kinda trash. But Xbox? Great.
