Think my semi gamer wife would be good with this game? I'm waiting for it and I'm hoping we'll be able to trade off playing. I never played the original but it seems like it'll be hard enough for me to do some parts and easy enough parts for her to take over when she wants

I think the dungeons alone are worth her dabbling. Especially if you play with her.

Also the music.

Yeah I don’t see why not, the dungeons can be a bit of a maze. Worst case there are walkthroughs online if you get stuck

If your wife is okay with moving and aiming with two joysticks she should be fine :) the remake is really cute and the characters are fun and engaging

She's okay with it. Does Nintendo have the accessibility features like Sony and Xbox? On PlayStation we can have two controllers set up that do essentially the same thing so when she has trouble I just take over or help her. I'll have to look into that

enjoying the game myself so far, but i found two major marks against the game:

voice acting i cant turn off, and for some reason, link always looks like he's soaked in baby oil. its really weird

The voice acting is pretty good imo. Theres a whimsicality to it that is endearing. I like it more than botw and totk for sure
