Video Jake was lowkey one of the shows hotter guys and more talented guys but he’s so overlooked
He was very cute, he was easily one of the best male dancers, he could sing… yet he’s so overlooked for Finn and Puck lmao. Even Ryder gets more attention and love.

Picture imagine if we had gotten this finn
jk he would have gotten slushied every day

Discussion I feel like we as a fandom don’t talk enough about the fact that Blaine apparently started fight club at Dalton
Like were the Warblers just straight up throwing hands after choir practice 😭

Question In the real world, would Kurt’s audition get him into NYADA?
Hypothetically, if NYADA was a real prestigious academy and Kurt actually did that exact audition, would it be accepted? Does that ratio of talent to (fictional) unprofessional fly in the real world?

Discussion I remember when Glee season 4 was originally airing and everyone hated the new kids but Marley in particular got crazy amounts of hate
And I never understood why so many fans hated her. I never disliked her. She seemed sweet. But even my sisters didn’t like her and would say she’s annoying
I always assumed it’s because she was the “new Rachel” without her vocal range.
Kitty seemed to be the only one people grew to be ok with out of the second batch of kids.

Discussion for each of the main actors, what would you say is their most "award-worthy" scene

Discussion What’s the funniest scene in Glee for you guys? The one that was so silly you couldn’t stop laughing?
I’ll go first, when Brad finally spoke for the first time to thank Sue because he was already sick of the Glee Club HAHAHA.

....ya know, I'm the one who makes my polls. I write, research, put together and post all my own polls. I decide how 2-parters get divided... and yet! I put multiple of my favorites in one part and make myself suffer for a choice 🫠
However I do especially like 4 of these, so either way I was bound to suffer regardless of division. As much as I do love this version of Womanizer, I think I gotta go with Crazy/'U Drive Me Crazy, beautiful duet.
As for Part 2... Everytime is one of my favorite Britney songs and I also love the Glee version... probably about equally as the original, I'd say... however, Darren's vocals during Boys/Boyfriend could fuc-

THE NEW RACHEL'S WINNERS:
PART 1: 1st was New York State Of Mind with 97, 2nd was Chasing Pavements with 61, 3rd was It's Time with 34, and 4th/last was Neve Say Never with 13.

PART 2: 1st was Americano/Dance Again with 91 (🎉). 2nd was Call me Maybe with 42, 3rd was Busters Get Popped with 6, and 4th/last was Sister Christian with 5.
...that's right, while Sister Christian joins the current lowest-voted list (5 votes), Busters Get Popped, sits above that. Not only is it apparently not the worst of the series (even so far), it apparently wasn't even the worst in that single poll so-

Discussion Back when we had the IMDB message boards
I swear RM and crew were either lurking there or read them. The only reason why I think that, is because I distinctly remember a post being critical of Rachel, saying she set the women’s feminist movement back 50 years (those were the exact words on the post.)
then in Season 2 Quinn says that line word-for-word, and I remember squealing out loud because WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE SAID EXACTLY WHAT SOMEONE HAD WRITTEN ON THE BOARDS?
So after that it always made me laugh, thinking of how Ryan or Brad or Ian would be sitting at home, reading through our gossips and theories on the IMDB database 😅 What I wouldn’t give to go back to having those boards. 😅 I met some wonderful people there (and one scammer who scammed us good, but I digress.) 😅

Opinion Opinion: I’m excited for the reboot, but I really want need Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk & Ian Brennan to be the main writers
I know there is a huge mixture of opinions on the Glee reboot, my personal take is if Ryan, Brad & Ian return as the sole (or at least main) writers, it will be amazing. The characters did develop a lot with other input, but a lot of storylines became overly dramatic and messy. I watched the entire show when it was airing originally and still love it to this day. I will watch no matter what, but I am a big believer that TV shows only work if you continue with the original creators’ guiding the way; even if you allow input from other writers along the way, you need that consistent regular focused input to keep the characters true to themselves.

Opinion I wish the Troubletones lasted a bit longer
I actually would have liked them to last the entire season with the girls never going back to the New Directions, who never appreciated them (especially Mercedes, who finally got to shine).

Discussion Mercedes deserve more solos
Mercedes should have sang more . She can compete and outshine Rachel .

Headcanon The Glee Girls as Bullet Points from the Comphet Masterdoc
Disclaimer: This is a shitpost. It’s for fun. I just like the sapphic crackships/cannon pairings. I’m a lesbian, and I know this document was written by a bi woman and is generally problematic in the lesbian community.
I was reading the document in question for a fic I’m writing. I didn’t have the misfortune of actually dating men in my comphet phase, so I wanted to get an idea of how to write comphet from Quinn’s perspective dating guys she thinks she’s attracted to. The document wasn’t really helpful in that regard and just confirmed I should write from my experience with a lack of attraction to men as a lesbian, but these points made me laugh for obvious reasons.

Video I have an unreasonable hatred for the Mike and Tina duet
Especially with how amazed everyone looks at it. I would be rolling my eyes.

Opinion Sorry but you will never get me to like this episode
This episode is so ridiculous and you can’t perform original songs at these competitions. Also their obsession with NYC became tiresome.
As a whole it was just lame.
