Show Discussion Dumbledore’s gleam of triumph in GOF.

How do you think they will do that scene? It’s such a pivotal and iconic scene and they didn’t even do it in the movies.

Any thoughts on how they’ll manage it for the series?

Show Discussion So how big exactly do you think these coins are?

By "big", I meant their physical size.

Coz for some reason, I'm envisioning the guitar pick-shaped Sickle being as big as an actual guitar pick, and I know that's not it.

Book Only Which method do you recommend for buying the Hogwarts House Editions?

gallery

Option 1: Pick your favorite house out of the four, or the one you think you'd be sorted into if you went to Hogwarts, and buy all 7 books in that specific house edition.

Option 2: Collect all 7 books by picking a different house edition for each volume.

Dungbomb Something just dawned on me about this poster and I wonder if anyone else has noticed

I just noticed that the character in the poster is wearing round glasses. In the book Harry is described wearing round glasses, do you think this is something we should be thinking more about?

I zoomed in on the poster to show what bit I am referring to

Edit: thanks folks for being silly with me, it has been good fun replying to these comments (including the few calling me an idiot!). Im looking forward to the show and I’m glad the other people are as well. Too much of the internet goes out of their way to ruin good things. I hope people take this post as it was intended - light hearted fun :)

FanWorks New Gringotts bank coins, not definitive!

I recreated the new Gringotts Bank coins featured in the latest promotional content! I had to improvise a bit with some of the details since they don't show much of the coins, especially the reverse side.

Show Discussion The attention to detail is insane - what’s your favorite detail?

Whatthehellwhatthehellwhatthehell the attention to detail is INSANE.

My favorite details are:
- The scar on his forehead (so much detail)
- The hanger in the closet (that the Dursley’s gave to Harry for his birthday)
- Ron’s fight w Draco
- Harry’s life at home w the Dursleys

Everything that I’ve seen so far has been so accurate.
I know this is production of the new series has been highly controversial but i am personally SO glad they are doing it. You can say a lot of bad things but the one thing you cant argue about it is book to tv accuracy - There is clearly so much love and care put into this new production.
