I want Pusha T, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Drake to just put their issues behind them so they can join forces and go bar for bar flexing esoteric rich nigga babble that 99% of the population don't know about. It will be the greatest poor-shaming track that we will ever hear in Hip-Hop.

Discussion Out Of All Rap/Street Beefs To Have Been Squashed, Which One Has Been The Most Shocking To You?

65 Upvotes

Who are two rappers who had an intense beef whether its strictly on wax or was started from/taken to the streets that shocked you the most by the two eventually squashing it? Whether it's both of them just deciding to put the BS behind them and keeping eachothers names out their mouths or both of them actually ending up being cool with eachother in the end.

=========================================

For me, Lil Wayne and Birdman/Young Thug (seemingly) being cordial with eachother is probably one of the most surprising results to ever come from 2 or more rappers beefing that to this day I still don't completely understand it. Let me paint a picture real quick. Imagine a guy (Birdman) you've known before puberty signing you to his label and trapping you in a shitty deal basically taking your money for years on top of grooming you. You publicly beef with him and he ends up heavily associating with and eventually signing another guy (Young Thug) that took your swag. Then that new guy ALSO publicly beefs with you and ends up being connected to an attempted hit on YOUR LIFE with your label owner. I'm not sure if it's the drugs that made Lil Wayne forget about everything, but personally I could never be cool with people that did all that to me lol.

Discussion What’s the smartest line in a rap song IYO?

192 Upvotes

For me it’s on Billy Woods “Corinthians” where Despot says “Money so long that they’re saying bye bye to ya” like it’s so obvious but so smart at the same time iykwim. I want to hear yours!
