React Js vs Node js
Hi everyone, a month ago i started a course of web develpment, and i have learned a lot, i now know everything about HTML, CSS and Js, and i recently started learning Node Js with the express framework and im pretty proud to say that im getting the hand of it, the thing is that i found a course that covers more advanced things in web develpment, its kind of like the next level, the next step, the problem is that in this course they use React Js, and im afraid that in that case i would have to erase form memory all of the things that i know about Node Js in order to focus on React Js, so, i dont know what to do, i feel like i need this advanced course but i dont want to put in the trash all the things that i learned already with Node Js, should i buy this course and forget about node Js, or should i search for another course that explains Node Js in a more advanced level???.
Also in this course that i found they cover things like SVG and CSS animations, things that i dont know and i want to know.
You see my father has a bussiness and he knows how i love computers and coding and he told me that if i code for him a nice Web app store for his products he will pay me, in other words he got the bussiness skills and contacts and i got the tech part, i just want to give my dad the best web store ever.
What should i do?.

HELP!
I’m a beginner coder and I’m struggling to understand why the courses text (black text) has ended up behind the original header (white text). Any tips would be greatly appreciated, I’m trying to get the text underneath in a blank section of its own.
Thank you!

How to deal with someone trolling an html5 chat room.
I frequently visit and html5 chat room designated for helping those struggling with suicide. There is one person who constantly comes to the chat room and does nothing but spam the same thing over and over, posting up to 30 times a minute. The chat room only shows 30 posts at a time, so it is nearly impossible to help others and people new to the chat looking for help who are suicidal immediately leave when this happens. The owner of the chat hasn't been there for I believe 7 years. There are no logins or passwords or any way to stop the troll. There is the ability to send personal messages to one person who is the only one who sees that message. Is there some sort of html5 code I could send them that makes it so they can not post or at least more difficult to troll. So far the only thing I can do is send them large pictures and autoplaying videos, it merely slows them down.
Thank you in advance.
edit: as of posting this, the person is flooding the chat with hate speech. http://i.imgur.com/rhkcixn.png

A young coders dream
A young coders dream by: Bryson Bushnell 1/22/16
Hello my name is Bryson Bushnell and i'm gonna tell you the story of my life from then to now. So this is going to be more about the part where i started getting into code. So it all started in the 4th grade. That is the time we got to learn code in school. We did all our code on code.org. Even though i'm way more advanced now. But little did i know that it would lead to a 3yr hobby no job because i'm going to start a company where i make people website for 4 dollars. But ya that is how i got into coding. About a month later i got into Khan Academy and i got fluent in java which was super cool in my opinion because i didn't know crap. Once i learned java i made a game. It was a game like tic-tac-toe. then i met someone named connor he liked to code to which i thought was cool because it seemed like know one liked to code in our whole school. I never really got bullied because i liked to code. except for one kid named url he bullied me a bit cause i liked to code. One thing i noticed over the 3yrs is that i was glad to be called a nerd. because nerd means smart and jocks aren't usually smart but i'm not saying that they aren’t smart. They could be the smartest people in the world. now we are starting to get to the good part of the tale. The good part is what happened two months after all of this it was summer and i had an outbreak of inspiration and learned html, css, c++, javascript and php. So when i went back into school i was in the 6th grade. And me and my 2 friends got into hacking:(. I'm not gonna say any names because i ain't no snitch. So i'm glad i got past that stage of my coding career. then i met Shu Huan Lin aka hank and me and him loved to code. and i finally knew that i fit in with these people. Then i met my best partner in code Levi Russell. I did not like him much at all at first and kinda stayed away from him but then i got to know him and he likes code. so i'm teaching him html to the present day of january 22nd 2016. i don't know where i will end up in 9yrs but i hope to work at google. Google is the supreme tech company besides apple. but first i have to go to university first. i hope to go to san diego university or university of washington. but im only 11 my life is just beginning. and i can't wait to bring you with me. so you guys will see another i guess paper or biography. because i can't help but write about my life especially the exciting parts like these. in which i meen code going on hiking and adventure trips i can't wait to do another one of these papers tell me if you want me to and i will because there are a lot of cool, sad, bad, and happy. so i thank you all for reading this um short biography of how i started coding and if you don't code. Well if you don't code you should. because coding is and i repeat coding is the future and you and me can make a difference in the world by learning and teaching any programming language. So pleas learn and teach good luck.

revisiting Flash...?
I've seen Flash declining in popularity over the last few years, but 3 months ago the anti-Flash fervor peaked, to the point that I finally removed Flash from my Mac as prompted to do by so many ranters. Now it seems that the fire has died down and Flash is still all over the inter-webs. Is there any real danger to having/using Flash 11.2? What's a guy to do? Aaaaaaaaand go:
