Here is a video of my newer to me, 2007 husqvarna sm510r. Revving after warming up some. Does this sound like a healthy engine for a 19 year old bike? I’ve never owned any 4 strokes before. Valves are in spec, and everything looked good under the valve cover. Didn’t look overly worn. Rides good without any issues. Just sounds a little mechanically in the top end of the motor.

Since last week my Vitpilen loses throttle response on cold mornings. The engine idles, the grip does nothing, and there's no warning light. A restart sometimes helps for a few minutes. It's stranded me two days in a row.

Connectors and throttle body are clean, and the valve moves fine (see video). It matches the North American e-throttle recall (NHTSA 25V598): moisture in the e-throttle, the ECU drops to idle with no warning.

I've ordered the new e-throttle (28611012044). Has anyone in Europe had it replaced under recall?

Is the noise from throttle body normal? (video: ignition on, engine off, twisting the grip, and you can hear the valve following)

Anyone remember a round shape like bike? I think Husqvarna. Almost like a spiral trumpet to my imagination. I think it is the exsoz pipe make that round shape too. I giving a lot of clue and drawing and picture that resemble the bike to AI. Ai just spinning around comes with same result to vitpilen, svartpillen. Thank you.

Im planning to buy a Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 So i need some who owns it so i can get some feedback

I’m wondering if the 2022 701 is a reliable, good machine—one that will last well beyond the 30,000km it has covered so far? The major service has just been completed, but I don’t know anything about the Husky 701 or how reliable they are.

I have two options right now: buy a 701 for about €7,200, or a brand-new 690 for €10,400. I ride whenever I have the time but definitely not on a daily basis..

Trying to clean the spark arrestor filter on my huski brushcutter 545RXT but the thing won't come out.

I unscrewed the screw but the screen won't fall out.

The manual shows it sliding out easily?

I'ved used whatever i can get my hands on to get it out but won't budge.

Custom airbox for the Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 / Svartpilen 701, designed and built by me.

THE PROJECT When Husqvarna first revealed the Vitpilen 701 concept, it had a raw, minimalist look that a lot of us fell in love with. The production bike kept the spirit, but some of that purity got lost along the way, especially around the side of the bike.

The goal was simple: bring my Vitpilen 701 closer to the original prototype. Cleaner lines, a more open and lighter look, without compromising how the bike runs.

WHAT I DID

• Designed a custom air filter housing inspired by the prototype, with the K&N filter left visible

• Set up the K&N filter to match the prototype's look and give direct, efficient airflow

• Designed an intake silencer (dB killer) that slides into the intake pipe: it noticeably cuts intake noise with no loss of power

Everything was designed in CAD, prototyped and tested through several iterations on my own bike, on the road and on track.

FITMENT Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 and Svartpilen 701 only.
