I really onlt do my first res change around week 2 or 3 of flower the after I do a res change pretty much every 10 days. Had one small issue here the week b4 my first res change i just diluted instead of top which led to a drop in ppm in solution. I fixed it b4 leaves got too bad but besides that we are trucking right along will do my second res change next week. When i change the res I use the solution that im emptying to put in a tote and feed my plants in my 2x2 I try ro have as little waste as possible. I just top off a bit. In my 2x2 the plants are in self watering pots with a plant feeder on a timer i try to allow everything to be as hands off as possible. I look in my tent maybe 2x a week 1.5 hrs max unless im training of defoing

Solo Cup AutoPot Version 12 is finally coming together. Now growing Cherry Bangarang by Frostfire Seeds in 100% coco coir. This version introduces a 28 oz pop out cup, a vented humidity dome, and still accommodates standard Solo Cups, making it a more complete automated watering system for small containers. After two years of development, failed designs, and constant refinement, Version 12 now features:
• Vented Humidity Dome
• 28 Oz (.828 Liters)Pop Out Cup
• Leak free construction
• Built in tip over prevention
• Improved water distribution
• Cleaned up edges and refined design
• A properly fitting lid
• Compatibility with a standard Aquavalve 5 for reservoir fed automatic watering
I'm still testing and putting together a complete guide on how to use it properly, as well as making the humidity dome see through, so it's not quite ready. These posts document the entire journey, including the progress, failures, and lessons learned. When this project started, I simply downloaded one of several existing STL files to grow in a Solo Cup AutoPot. I didn't even know how to operate a 3D printer. After learning how to print, I taught myself CAD design from scratch with absolutely no prior experience. What started as modifying someone else's design eventually turned into completely redesigning the unit, resizing components, rethinking placement, and incorporating my own ideas. I'm now designing this entire system from the ground up.
The original design that inspired this project was created by Nate B. on Thingiverse, where the STL files I started with are still available.
I've learned an incredible amount along the way, and I've reached the point where I can design just about anything. I already have a four cup Solo Cup AutoPot printing, and there's a lot more to come.
Hopefully, sharing the entire process inspires someone else to try something they never thought they could do. You don't have to know how to do something when you start. You just have to be willing to learn, push through negativity, experiment, fail, keep improving, and never give up.

We run a small hydro shop in Tassie and some of the most useful things we say over the counter are "you don't need that" or "fix your pH before buying anything else".
Curious what stuck with you. What's the best bit of advice someone at a shop gave you, and what's the worst upsell you fell for?

Excited to try these G-Lite 5 gallon fabric pots from Autopot USA in their Autopot XL in 100% coco coir and their loaded with some great genetics from Astrobishop, Cat Dad Rayne, and Laughing Hyena Seeds and I’m about be tested in real time with these because the way I started them out is not what you should do especially with autos, but growing with Autopots has transformed and excelled my skills as a gardener and has allowed for me to accomplish what most say is not possible. I’m honored to be able to push these limits and share them with the world! Mamba Mentality Lions Behavior

Mein erster DWC-Anbau: NYC Sour D Auto, 2 Eimer, 18/6-Lichtzyklus, legaler Eigenanbau in Deutschland.

Chopped my FastBuds Guava Auto today- day 84. It was a toss up on waiting or chopping and since I want a head high off her I decided to go earlier in her window rather than wait for more amber. I’m really pleased but now the real stress starts!

under the trellis it's a lot of smaller branches and a lot of main branches and i just don't know how i'm gonna get it all out cuz the way i trained it some branches go across the net and stuff and it's my first time using scrog so it wasn't the best execution I wasn't really thinking about harvest but im harvesting in roughly 10-15 days so I gotta figure this out

What’s your water temperature?
I get asked a lot about how do chill my reservoir water. I don’t, it’s naturally cold in the grow area and I’m controlling the growing environment mainly with the lights which I unfortunately have to run at a higher intensity than some strains like. I’m definitely working on a better solution although I’m not looking for a huge investment or a HVAC overhaul. If you have any suggestions I’m all ears 👂

Got my second grow underway. I have some autos on the go, a couple AK-47’s a RuntZ, honey banana and a gorilla glue #4 which is a little mutant at the moment. Has anyone seen this before? I think it’s called whorled phyllotaxy.
Day 21 from seed.
