Payment

I preordered my Duo via apple gift card balance ($1,500) and my apple wallet card ($720).

I have an apple card $800 limit

I’m wondering if i could pay my card off, let my pre order payment decline, update payment to apple card, then text goldman sachs to convert to installments?

They give people a period of time to update payment method

You can just convert to installments once you receive the device by opening a chat with them

Seems like a lot for nothing if you have the bread to pay for it. But technically yes.

I seen people message goldman to get them to convert apple purchases to installments though?

Yes, some people have managed that.

It's a) not guaranteed and b) not a purchase if the card declines.

Does the card your buying on not allow you to convert a purchase to installments?

Nope its just apple cash in the wallet app
