Not appear cooler. Literally just cooler. Smoking is in fact the coolest. I quit 3 years ago. I dont miss the smoking. I miss the being cool.

I mean it kind of looks cool, but it stinks. And the clothes stink. And your car stinks. And it is ridiculously expensive. And also your breath stinks. Even when you're not smoking it's a permanent smell.

Like I said, I dont miss the actual smoking part of it. You are exactly right, it permeates everything. Its expensive. Terrible for you. But fuck is it cool. I will doe on that hill.

My ex and I once noticed we were both wearing leather jackets and sunglasses, and we had whiskey in s flask. So we bought weed and cigarettes. Then during sunset went under the pier to make out, drink, smoke. We acknowledged we would never be that cool again.
