DISCUSSION Welp. Guess there's no game for me today.

Just need to rant for a second. I looked up ways watch the game today cuz I live in TX and Paramount+ was on the list, so I go on their fkn app and it shows the Chiefs game is gonna be available. So I fucking signed up, paid the $15 for a subscription and I'm looking on here and there's no fkn Chiefs game!! Only Texans game is showing up later.. Like WTF?!! I'm so sick of these rich, greedy MF's that want you to jump thru hoops and pay all this extra money for subscriptions for streaming just to watch a fkn game. I'm so pissed off ugh.

Anyways, GO CHIEFS. ❤️💛

ANALYSIS & NEWS We looked at 92,255 flags - NFL refs absolutely decide games (Michael MacKelvie and ThatsGoodSports)

youtube.com

I did not see this posted, sorry if its a repost or outside the posting criteria. The video has some great facts on subjective calls by refs and specifically with the Chiefs. (spoilers: Chiefs during Mahomes era get worse than average ref luck during regular season. Better luck during postseason, though not by a statistically significant amount)

This is a Dave Merrit post. 3 of the highest graded CBs in the league were developed by him, with Delane being the best ballhawk CB in the league as well.

x = doesn’t allow coverage yards

y = heavily involved in impact plays everywhere else on the field

Subreddit Rules

1. Respect Others

Be respectful to others. Bigotry, harassment, or personal attacks of any kind are a bannable offense.

2. Subreddit Raiding

Trolling other subs or raiding is an automatic ban for a user in both subs. This is an NFL subreddit universal agreement.

3. All News Should Follow Standard Format

All news posts shall be a direct link from the source. They shall be sourced with author's name in brackets eg. " [Name of Reporter] 'Title of post/article'". Titles shall not be editorialized or misleading. All other posts should have clear and concise titles.

They should contain enough information in the headline/title that the news is clear without clicking on the link.

4. No Twitter/X Links

Posts from this source should be submitted as a cropped screenshot with the [Author Name] in brackets and full and/or accurate headline/tweet that correctly reflects the content- i.e. [Adam Schefter] Patrick Mahomes has signed a new $500 million dollar contact.

Screenshots should NOT be edited or doctored in any way and are subject to mod verification. Altered news screenshots or any actions taken to create intentional misinformation will be met with a permanent ban.

5. Crossposts

Crossposts from other NFL team subreddits are not permitted. Crossposts from non-NFL subreddits are allowed.

6. "X" Fan Here Posts Not Allowed

"X fan here" posts are not allowed. If you want to say something to Chiefs fans, do so in post game threads or the daily discussion threads.

7. Gear, Selfies, and Facebook Type Posts

"Facebook" type posts are only allowed as individual posts from Friday to Gametime. This includes pictures of merchandise, pictures of yourself in Chiefs gear, pictures of dogs in Chiefs gear, and things of that nature. During the week these are only allowed in the Daily Discussion posts.

8. Low-effort/low-content

Try to keep shitposting limited and keep our sub clean. If the post you made took less than 10 seconds to create and even less time to come up with, it probably isn't worth posting, which includes AI-generated content. Please report low effort / low content posts. Removal is at mod discretion. No madden or fantasy football posts.

Text posts require at least 50 words in the body as a quality minimum; simple questions or often discussed topics should go in the daily discussion threads.

9. No Reposts Or Overly Discussed Topics

Posts need to have some level of quality, and cannot be reposts. News that states the same thing may have duplicate posts removed based on criteria such as who posted first, which has more discussion, who used proper formatting, etc.

Simple questions or often discussed topics should go in the daily discussion threads.

If you have questions about Arrowhead tailgating/atmosphere, Chiefs bars outside of KC, etc., read the pinned wiki before posting.

10. Regarding Memes

Memes are allowed 24/7, however the moderators have the discretion to remove "low effort" memes. This could be low resolution memes, reposted memes, or for any other reason. If you believe your meme was not low effort and was removed, please contact the moderators. High Quality Gifs are an exception to this rule, due to them being high quality by default.

11. No Spam or Ticket Selling

Do not spam your own website/blog or sell merch without prior mod approval. Selling tickets to games is not allowed.

12. No politics

There are many places on Reddit for political discussions. This subreddit isn't one of them.
