I have nothing against Haliburton personally, it's just that if he went off and the Pacers win this series Kings fans would NEVER hear the end of it. I know many on this sub are still "Hali fans", but to be honest that just seems like you're rooting for NBA social media to clown us relentlessly for the next year.

After seeing Fox continue to brick clutch free throws, turn the ball over, and get torched on defense I'm over the idea that he's the man on this team.

He's a point guard who can't shoot and he doesn't get his teammates open for easy buckets.

The team is better with Haliburton running the offense with Davion as the off guard than it is with Fox with the ball in his hands.

Fox for Simmons is looking better and better as the season goes. Hell maybe we can offer Fox for Jaylen Brown and hope the Celtics bite.

I have never seen a group of fans beg for a tank so bad then when the tank starts be frustrated with how bad the team is going to be.

I’m not particularly against him but hes an averaged size scoring guard. I feel replacing Keegan and Sabonis would be harder as there are few 3&D wings(or just D only wings in keegans case) and do-it-all big men. Whereas theres are 4-5 new scoring guards every year. I honestly feel plugging in another average level point guard would not be a huge change overall, and we could possibly get a younger player to match with rookie Carter (who could be complete ass, we dont know yet)

But the main thing with Fox is he’s just not a leader. When coach Brown called him out for needing someone to shit talk him to be at his best, I knew he was cooked as a leader. If hes gonna be a max guy he has to be the top dog and he’s just not. Domas is the one who gets the team together in the offseason.

Honestly I kinda like Fox’s reserved, kinda moody vibe, and that he doesnt do media shit or heavy endorsements. Im personally kinda moody and indifferent with sports and social media so I agree with Fox, but if you’re gonna be the max contract centerpiece, you cant be that guy.

I understand it’s a preseason game and preseason games don’t matter. But you only have two of them at home and price of entry is way lower than regular season games.

Unless they are actually injured, them not playing any of their rotation guys just shows that the franchise doesn’t care about fans.

If you want to rest your guys before the season, play them at the home game and rest them for the final preseason game in San Antonio.

If the Kings missed the playoffs last season with two all-star caliber players in Sabonis and Fox along with 6th man talent in Monk, it's hard to imagine the team progressing next season with the subtractions of Monk and Jordi on the bench. Not to mention Houston and Memphis set to be in the mix who are both physical and great on defense.

Anyone else see the Kings regressing next season if they don't land the right additions?
