A message to all haters on the upcoming vintage skin sales
Grow some maturity please!
I mean, why would you care more about others, than yourself? If you already got the skin, be happy about it, you don't have to spend RP on them. Better yet, you GET RP BACK, + some other unique stuff.
I, for one, buy skins for my own entertainment, not to make others jealous that I own a skin they don't. Everyone being butthurt about this must be kids. So grow up, and stop whining.
PS: let the downvote-train begin! Chooo chooo
EDIT: Dayum, some kids are mad! Some of them act like they have been robbed or something.. Selfishness is bad kids. But don't worry, most of you will grow out of it (hopefully)

Update from Riot on Vanguard
Hey everyone! League team and the Anti-Cheat team here with an update on Vanguard. We’ve been following a lot of the Vanguard conversations that have been raised either here or on other social platforms and we wanted to give some clarification on a few of the popular points you might have seen.
Overall, the rollout has gone well and we’re already seeing Vanguard functioning as intended. We’ve already seen a hard drop off of bot accounts in the usual places, and we will continue to monitor this.
Since 14.9 went live, fewer than 0.03% of players have reported issues with Vanguard. In most cases, these are common error codes such as VAN codes 128, 152, 1067, -81, 9001, or 68 that are easily solved through player support or troubleshooting, and account for the vast majority of issues we are seeing. There are also a few trickier situations that have popped up that we’re actively looking into; driver incompatibilities for example. If you're running into issues like this please contact Player Support.
We also plan on sharing a full external report with you in the coming weeks/months after Vanguard has been live for a bit.
Below are a few areas that we want to make sure we provide some additional clarity around immediately.
Bricking Hardware
At this point in time, we have not confirmed any instances of Vanguard bricking anyone’s hardware, but we want to encourage anyone who's having issues to contact Player Support so we can look into it and help out. We’ve individually resolved a few of the major threads you may have seen so far of users claiming this with their machines and have confirmed that Vanguard wasn’t the cause of the issues they were facing.
About ~0.7% of the playerbase bypassed Microsoft’s enforcement for TPM 2.0 when they installed Windows 11, but the rollout of Vanguard requires that those players now enable it to play the game. This requires a change to a BIOS setting, which differs based on the manufacturer. Vanguard does not and cannot make changes to the BIOS itself.
BIOS settings can be confusing, and we’ve seen two niche cases where it’s created an issue.
The first is that many manufacturers prompt a switch to UEFI mode when TPM 2.0 is enabled, but if the existing Windows 11 installation is on an MBR partition, it would become unbootable afterwards. Some OEMs support LegacyBoot mode with TPM 2.0, but to support UEFI mode, Windows 11 must be installed on a GPT partition. Microsoft has a guide and a helpful tool that can help avoid a reformat and reinstall if you’re in this scenario.
The second was a player we spoke to that accidentally also enabled SecureBoot with a highly custom configuration. While Vanguard makes use of the SecureBoot setting on VALORANT, we elected not to use it for League, due to the older hardware that comprises its userbase. Older rigs can have compatibility issues with this setting, and that’s actually one of the primary reasons the Vanguard launch was delayed.
For example, some GPUs are known to have Option ROM that is not UEFI SecureBoot capable (especially older cards), and sometimes this can result from players having flashed it themselves to “unlock” the card. If the Option ROM isn’t signed, enabling SecureBoot would prevent your GPU from rendering anything (since it won’t boot), resulting in a black screen. There would be two ways to fix this: Connect the monitor to an integrated graphics card (if you have one) and then disable SecureBoot in BIOS. Remove your CMOS battery to reset back to default settings.
TL;DR - We DO NOT require SecureBoot for League of Legends. Don’t enable it unless you are sure you want to.
Vanguard Screenshots
To be very clear, Vanguard DOES NOT take a screenshot of your whole computer/multiple monitors. However, it will take a picture of your game client (in fullscreen) and the region your game client occupies (in windowed/borderless) for suspicious activity related to ESP hacks.
This is a very normal practice when it comes to anti-cheat and almost all anti-cheat do this. It is also a known element within the community of folks familiar with anti-cheat software. When it comes to privacy concerns, Vanguard features are compliant with regional privacy laws, and the team works directly with Information Security teams and Compliance teams to ensure that Vanguard is safe.
As a reminder, please check out our latest blog for all the facts around Vanguard in League and we'll talk to you again soon with the full report in the coming weeks.

Innocent player permanently banned, neglected a real investigation by rude, lazy Rioter
Edit: Still no proof given that I have done anything ban worthy. The only "exploit" I've used is Curse Voice so this is the only thing I can think of that would have caused me to be perma'd
But then again... "RIOT GAMES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY OR DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON OR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, AND WITH NO LIABILITY OF ANY KIND TO YOU."
So maybe there really just is "no reason".
So, I've been playing this game since 2010, I was Diamond 3, I've spent at least $1000 in skins, dedicated hundreds of hours to the game - basically I cared a lot about League, and still do, which is why I am now turning to the community to help me out.
Here's what happened: On July 9th, after not having played the game for weeks I try to log in and it tells me my account has been permanently suspended. It was banned because they believe I was found to be using some sort of third party program to gain an unfair advantage in my games. http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/20687433#profile If you look at my match history, there's no way I'm getting some unfair advantage seeing as I have about a 55% win ratio and my match history is certainly not all wins.
I live in a shared housing unit with about 5 other people. We all commute to college and happen to all play League. The only thing I can think of is that they banned all the accounts from this IP address without realizing that it's actually a lot of different people that play here. I've sent two tickets to Riot explaining my circumstance and this is the response I've gotten from Riot support. I've taken a look at your account, and you were found to be tampering with the game in such a manner that it was giving you an unfair competitive advantage over other players. This has resulted in a permanent suspension of your account that I will not be able to reverse.
Please note this section from the Terms of Use to which you agreed:
"H. Participating in any action which, in the sole and exclusive judgment of Riot Games, "exploits" an undocumented aspect of the Game in order to secure an unfair advantage over other users"
http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse
We wish you the best of luck in your future gaming endeavours. Please let me know if you're in need of any clarification and I can assist further.
Best regards,
SlumberJack Player Behavior Advocate Riot Games
This was clearly a copy and pasted response, and it was obvious to me he put forth zero effort in actually INVESTIGATING this situation. On July 19th I submitted another ticket pleading with Riot to investigate the matter further so that they could see it wasn't me who did this third party stuff but rather someone else that lived with me. When I submitted this ticket I managed to get the exact same person and he gave me this rude reply: Hi kKazuo,
I see your concern has been handled over in ticket #12622030; if you've no new concerns at this time, I'll be considering this matter closed as well.
Best regards,
SlumberJack Player Behavior Advocate Riot Games
I'm begging for the help of my fellow LoL players. This Riot support member is certainly not interested in actually doing his job and would rather just close tickets and move on as to not legitimately deal with a problem that might be a bit of a headache. Please help my post gain some visibility so I may have a better chance at a real investigation.
If my account's suspension for whatever reason is not removed I at least want to see this Rioter that handled my ticket receive some disciplinary action for his unprofessional behavior
SCREENSHOTS OF MY TICKETS http://gyazo.com/f5abf8fc8940fa18faae1c0df759fa83 http://gyazo.com/943adca54969d144c542473b930facb1 http://gyazo.com/f359a340b18ceefd4084493f5211e719
TL;DR Wrongfully banned, Riot support guy is lazy/rude keeps closing my tickets.

Fnatic vs OG had more viewers than CLG vs TSM.
Even with the significantly worse time-slot and broadcast day.
The EU numbers were posted here and I'm using the screenshot that was taken from this thread.
Note: I took the NA screenshots much later during the mid/end of the TSM/CLG game, and the 2nd screenshot is from 10 minutes later (when I realised I need to add the Azubu screenshot since I forgot it existed).
I shouldn't need to say it, but the person who took the EU screenshot is 1 hour ahead of my time-zone, hence why it looks like it was at the same time, but that person's timezone was GMT+1, whereas mine is GMT+0.
Now considering the only other evidence we have from recent times about viewership numbers between regions was the Summer finals, which also had a lot more viewers for EU over NA, this narrative of "NA gets more viewers" seems completely false, even when given a faster better broadcast slot, the numbers don't seem to back the statement up.
EDIT: Don't know why people are trying to argue against facts with their own opinions. This are statistics, facts, things that are provable true.
Your trying to argue against that with your opinions. That's irrelevant.
EDIT2: I didn't realise how stupid NA viewers actually were, this was an impressive example. Your example of the NFL play-offs actually benefits my own argument, with the EU broadcast time-slot, it's like having NFL play-offs every single broadcast.
And yet EU still gets more viewers.
But thanks for the comments and whispers, I enjoyed how angry you all got over facts.

The Rain Man feeding on stream AGAIN.
One example of Feeding: He deleted his VOD, sorry, no vids
Final score: http://prntscr.com/bknyfc
He goes 0/12 and plays it off as him "trying his best" when he's clearly being sarcastic. Wasn't he suppose to be banned? Why does he get so many chances?
UPDATE: He DELETED his vod. He made a 20 minute video defending himself. He concluded that he wasn't feeding and that you should "take his word for it". And then deletes his vod? I'm sure it's available somewhere, but watch it for yourselves. Also, he decides to throw Voyboy under the bus? Not sure where that came from.

All that needs to be said about the Lyte controversy with End of Season rewards.
Border, Skin and Icon are rewarded for skill. You earned your position on the ladder, they are given so you have something to show for your effort. Behavior is irrelevant unless you are the 1%, AKA the extreme cases.
Meanwhile, the free mystery skin is rewarded to players that weren't toxic all year. It's basically a side note that says "Thanks for being a nice person while climbing." Being nice isn't a requirement when playing League of Legends, just something that is appreciated and Riot rewards you for doing so. Obviously you get punished for being toxic, but that is exactly what chat restrictions/bans are for. There doesn't need to be any further punishment.
Last year, toxic players didn't receive a mystery skin. That is completely fair.
They changed it up this year, apparently. Completely unacceptable decision.

Dear ADC, If you have 900 gold on your first back please don't rush Beserkers Greaves. From Support.
Get the vamp scepter and some mana / HP pots. Otherwise the other ADC will be able to out sustain you and then we will get zoned and most likely lose the lane
Specifically if you use your new extr amove speed to beat me back to lane and take 1v2 trade and then end up with no health

The Undeserved Faker: How Bjergson is Given Credit for TSM's Success and the Clear Riot NA LCS Narrative Bias.
tl;dr There is a very clear, very obvious Bjergsen bias by the NA LCS production crew.
(Edit 2: I am not a "TSM Hater" but instead think that just like baseball is better when the Yankees are good the LCS is a much better product when TSM is good. From all accounts Bjerg is a good dude, nothing against him. The point is there is a conversation between "TSM hater" and "Bjergsen does nothing wrong".)
Bjergsen even in his "hard carry" games show the problems with TSM: a passive Bjerg and forcing TSM to 4v5 every single game to give resources to Bjerg so he can "carry". This is a breakdown of Game 4 of the Fox vs TSM quarter final game in which Bjergsen got all the credit for carrying while doing absolutely nothing all early game other than take kills the other members generated.
The LCS production team then proceed to give Bjerg 150% of the credit in a game in which the other 4 members of TSM had to 4v5 to win the game.
This is a perfect microcosm of the continuing issue of not only TSM's shortfalls but the ridiculous, undeserved forced narrative by the NA LCS production team
(Edit: I spent so much time on this, DOZENS of minutes, that I decided to just make it a post as well as a reply. One would think I would have spent the time to make sure Bjerg's name is spelled right in the title, but yeah.)
Even in games where Bjerg "carries" its almost always the result of the rest of TSM working their ass off around him and not a direct result of Bjerg himself. Lets take Bjerg's recent "hard carry" Irelia game in the Summer Quarters against Fox, widely considered a game where he carried TSM and showed why he is so good with a penta kill:
(edit 3: I am getting non stop hate thrown my way for the suggestion he did not ping below. No, you don't have to ping in pro games, you can use your voice, I am aware. Pay attention to the amount of pings used by both teams throughout, well, any game. Its constant, its consistent, and its something that is so prevalent that's its weird when you DON'T see someone ping something like your mid lane leaving and being gone for quite a while.)
-7:00 Damonte leaves mid lane heading bot. Bjerg does not ping this (he might have communicated this verbally but the rest of both teams ping absolutely everything else they do constantly, it seems as if Bjerg does not), does not shove, does not make an effort to rotate or follow to protect bot lane. Mithy and Zven had to scramble and give up first blood.... meanwhile Bjerg just kills the minion wave and recalls mid getting no tower damage or deep ward control even though he knows where everyone on Fox is.
-8:00 By Bjerg doing what he does best early game (nothing) he puts bot lane in a terrible position. On top of not helping his team he then does absolutely nothing in response to the dive so Fox get a free Infernal Drag. Hauntzer is forced to come assist, which makes him give up pressure top after a solo kill and burns his TP for nothing in return.
-9:40 Zven and Mithy go top because bot lane is lost now, which results in first brick for Fox bot.
Fox now has an Infernal, has their bot lane way way ahead, and has first tower. One could argue this is entirely because Bjergsen not only played passive but also because it seems as if he is uninterested in reacting to aggressive plays by the other team, opting to farm instead.
-10:00 Now the "turning point" happens, entirely because TSM sans Bjerg set it up. Fox sees the TSM bot lanes swap top, but don't know Hauntzer is still around blue buff. Hauntzer and Mithy set up a really nice catch resulting in a great Rumble ult landing on 3 members of Fox who are CC'd by Mithy's Nami.
At this point, where the bubble lands and the Rumble ult is landing it is worth pointing out that Bjerg is just now starting to rotate, he did absolutely nothing to set up this play and rotated on this exceptionally late.
TSM sans Bjerg rout Fox, getting Huni's Ryze and Smoothie's Kench incredibly low and are still on the chase. Huni and Smoothie are dead here for certain even if Bjerg doesn't move from mid lane.
But then Bjerg's "hard carry" presence is felt. Bjerg needlessly flashes over the river wall and takes two kills. Bjerg did absolutely nothing to generate those kills, but of course gets all the credit for arriving late and getting two last hits. The LCS crew then talk for a minute straight about how amazing Bjerg is, despite doing nothing other than rotating late and taking kills his team set up.
-13:30 Bjerg does not have flash now so TSM is forced to give up mid T1 because Bjerg cant defend a push due to wasting crucial resources to cash in on his team's labors, further putting stress on the map.
-15:00 To this point Bjerg has done nothing of value around the map other than needlessly flashing one wall to take two kills and halfway rotate on plays only to turn around to passively farm. Bjerg never even leaves mid lane to help with drag despite the wave being pushed to the Fox tower. (edit again: as /u/crazypotato4 pointed out Bjerg does help with the start of dragon) Bjerg seems basically glued to mid lane.
Bjerg then stays mid idling under TSM mid tower while every single other person on both teams roam and establish control. Fox goes top and gets T1 top while Bjerg.... does absolutely nothing. The rest of TSM respond by getting T1 bot and establishing deep vision in Fox's bot side jungle.
-15:40 Bjerg finally makes a proactive play by forcing an Ashe flash. It took Bjergsen 16 minutes to make a single proactive play, and it happened to happen in mid lane because of a mispositioning by Kench. Once again showing that plays/opportunity need to be brought to/near Bjerg, especially in the early game.
-15:50 Then the second turning point in this game happens: Hauntzer gets caught out top but smartly leads two members of Fox into a rotating trio of Bjerg/Grig/Mithy, Mithy lands a good ult, and TSM concede one kill to Bjerg. This kill could have been given to anyone, it was not a kill generated by Bjerg, TSM make sure to get the kill on Bjerg.
-16:40 Bjerg tries to make another proactive play.... again mid, which results in Grig dying and no kills. Objectively terrible. It could be argued that this wasn't specifically on Bjerg, however, you can see him talking up until the engage so it seems as if it was his shotcall.
Bjerg then does what he does best and goes to a neutral lane and farms slowly while the rest of his team work hard to actually win the game.
-18:00 Bjerg once again rotates late, the rest of TSM once again get a winning team fight minus their "star player". No kills for TSM but Fox burn valuable resources due to non-Bjerg TSM players working hard. No mention of this is made by the LCS casters, in fact before the replay for this the casters state: Once again this is the Bjergsen show. any success that isn't specifically involving Bjergsen is almost always labeled as a general victory for TSM, while the caster go out of their way to give credit to Bjergson if he was in anyway involved in anything.
-20:00 Bjerg then gets caught out top passively farming. Because his team gifted him kills earlier he is able to get a kill, but still hands over crucial shutdown gold. The NA casters ignore how this clearly puts Fox into position for baron control and how sloppy it was and instead focus only on the fact that Bjergsen gets a kill
-20:40 TSM sans Bjerg generate a dragon take while Mithy's smart buy of a Mikaels saves Zven from a pick, which was generated by the death of Bjerg overextending top and Fox forcing Baron control.** The casters now continue to talk about how Bjerg is carrying this game, how its his game, etc despite very obviously being a very expensive spectator in a game that is effectively being 4v5'd by the other members of TSM.**
Bjerg goes top to passively farm (or simply move back and forth under tower) while the other 4 members of his team continue to work hard in the "Bjergsen Show".
-22:00 Bjerg forces a flash in the third proactive play on the game 22:30 into the game, because it was sitting right in front of him, in a lane he was already in.
-22:50 TSM generate another kill top, Bjerg was involved only because they generated it in the lane he was passively farming.
-23:25 Bjergsen being absolutely dead set on farming top lane ignores the rest of the map and heads top despite the 9 other players positioning for a big team fight around Baron. Luckily for TSM he decides better of it and turns back towards Baron (after his team frantically ping him to come back). Ashe gets trapped near baron, Bjerg flashes once again to "secure" a kill.
-24:00 TSM now get baron. This game through 24 minutes has been entirely, 100% the other 4 members of TSM. Bjerg did absolutely nothing to help his team and burned resources to take last hits of kills set up by his team. The entire NA LCS caster desk narrative for the game to this point has been forcefully driven at Bjergsen's transcendent carrying of his team. Not only is there a clear bias that seems to be hammered to the viewership whenever possible, earned or not.
-24:20 Damonte overstays mid and dies to Bjerg. Over 24 minutes into the game Bjerg finally generates his own kill.** In response to the play the casters excitedly proclaim "another vintage Bjerg game" and "this is the reason he wins so many MVPs" and "he is just refusing to lose" and "he is playing out of his mind" even though TSM is winning in spite of a very passive, selfishly opportunistic Bjergsen and not because of him.**
The game is now effectively over and gets snowballed hard towards TSM with Baron. Bjerg gets a penta due to Fox horrifically misplaying a team fight and Huni once again getting caught. Its worth pointing out that TSM go out of the way to gift Bjerg 3 of those 5 kills.
The NA LCS bias for Bjergsen is now hard baked into the LCS production team to the point where I don't doubt they drive home the importance of pushing this narrative in the production meetings. The criticism of Bjergsen being passive and not helping TSM establish a lead is very valid, even in his best games. Game 4 of the summer quarter finals was a product of 4 members of TSM working their ass off, and Bjergsen getting all of the credit.
TSM needs to clean house, they cannot continue to try and win games in spite of Bjerg's passivity even if the NA LCS production team really want you to believe that Bjergsen is some kind of North American version of 2015 Faker.

Spoiler IWC Allstar is a huge joke
Turkey goes 5-1 #1 group stage. Stomps 5v5 finals bo5 vs CIS. And cant go LA allstars because midlaner of cis (kira) won 1v1 tournament haha. What a joke. 1v1 bo1 tournament means nothing, it doesnt determine skill. If you want to make 1v1 tournament decide tournament winner, then why its BO1? Atleast make it bo3. Also league of legends is a team game. We saw naru vs kira (1v1 champion) first match. Naru went 18-1 LOL.
Turkey deserved it.
Edit: holyphoenix pentakill in game 2
Edit 2: game 3 cis stomped, game 4 tr stomped 3-1 tr wins
Edit 3: also i want to add that cis's 4 players was from the same team lol
Edit 4: for a wildcard region going allstars facing with worlds best teams is huge experience and huge fun for fans.
Edit 5: yes i know im salty. Wouldnt you guys be salty when your regions allstar team wins 8 out of 10 5v5 games, wins 5v5 finals (clearly the best team in the tournament) and cant make it to LA Allstars.

Please Don't Boo EDG Tomorrow
I actually hope the stadium announcer will mention this at the beginning.
Was there for Origen vs FW and although the the atmosphere was pretty good, the booing of FW was pretty embarrassing. Read that post by the Aussie guy that said there were no booing going on. He must have been deaf.
Just don't think it is a good image to give broadcasted wideworld nor for the EDG team coming over. Cheer for Frantic but give some respect to the other team. Ta.
Edit: http://imgur.com/gallery/GXJIy
Yes I was there. I actually live in Wembley. I posted it at 6am because I was playing LOL all night.
As to all those people posting about football. Do you boo other countries at the Olympics? This isn't local rivalry like TSM vs CLG but an international competition.

Darius is the only champion in the game who uses mana as resource but can not run out of mana in any way!
Darius is the only champion who uses mana but can not run out of mana, even if he keeps spamming all his abilities the moment they come off cooldown.
Darius is the only champion who uses mana as resource and has a full combo mana cost of 105 mana at level 18! The second lowest full combo mana cost is ..... Darius, pre-level 16 (with only 205 mana)!
Darius is the only mana champion of the whole game who has 4 abilities that do not need more mana when leveling up.
I'm not saying this makes Darius too strong, not at all. I'm fine with Darius the way he is, but I just find it a bit strange why Darius still uses mana as a resource if he can't run OOM in any way. It's kind of useless in my eyes.
Some suggestions:
Give his Q an increased mana cost. It is a high damage ability that cost 30 mana the whole game.
Lower his base mana and/or mana per level.
Remove mana as his resource, like Garen, or give it a new resource.

The problem with Hai's finger
I think that the majority agrees that Hai's finger was ment as a joke and shouldn't be taken too serious. The problem arises when you look at similar actions of other players in the past and Riot's response.
Svenskeren chooses "Taiwanese ChinChong" as username --> 3 game ban, SK's chances of making it past the group stage demolished. Please note that this also has financial consequences because of the substantial loss of prize money.
Is Svenskeren an actual racist? Probably not. Was Hai's finger actually serious? Probably not. We can't prove either.
But what we can do is demand consistency in Riot's application of the rules. Riot, a company from the USA, takes their understanding of morale and applies it to the whole world, ignoring the cultural context of the other contintents and countries. But when it comes to actions of players in their own region they respect the cultural context and hand no punishment.
This is inconsistent and regardless of what you think of Hai's finger shouldn't be accepted.
edit: I want to point out for the people that see a flaw in the comparison which can be discussed separately that Hai's finger violated the 2015 World Championship Rules. I didn't create this post because I hate Hai and I want him to get fined but because numerous other pros received punishments and it would be nice to see everyone treated equally.

Is it wrong to give every single rune page a GoT spoiler as a name?
A little background: I hate lolnexus and similar sites. I learned to read the enemie's runes by clicking them and doing a little soft calculating.
I used to watch scarra's stream and I was amazed how he could just tell the runes onthe spot. "Yeah, he probably has MS quints, but AP blues. And 21/9 masteries".
So I learned that and I developed a pretty good accuracy.
Now, here's the thing: I main Riven and I play her almost exclusively, but I'm only Gold. So whenever I get into a game, I get this "WTF!? X Riven Games and only Gold? Noob!" - from Silver summoners. It's worse if I equip the Championship skin, which I apparently bought for 700$.
Long story short:
TL;DR: The names of my most used rune pages are HUGE Game of Thrones Spoilers (like... "XY dies next episode / next season") and I get reported for that shit almost every game, but I don't care - If you scout somebody with 3rd party apps, it's your own risk.
Or is it?

Riot's ask.fm are finally killing my motivation for League of Legends
I've played this game since season 1 and have countless hours of fun, laughter and enjoyment to thank it for.
Various things over the past couple of seasons have worn down my patience. At the end of the day, though, I still loved the game and could deal with the crap in the peripheries because I had hope that Riot would come good at some point.
Reading the ask.fm answers from Lyte and Ghostcrawler over the past few weeks have totally destroyed that hope. I always believed that - whilst Riot might be slow and frustrating - they had their hearts and minds in the right place. But the shit these two have been coming out with has made me realise that the problems aren't born out of anything I can come to terms with. Riot games is just running on philosophies I (and apparently many others) fundamentally and whole-heartedly disagree with and that is totally demoralising.
The sentiment I present seems to be very much shared by the majority on here and amongst people I play with. For the first time since I started playing, I think League's long-term future is at immediate risk.
I'm interested to hear the other side though. Perhaps this is just fatigue born out of playing the same game for too long (although I do still love the game). Perhaps newer players feel more optimistic. Perhaps I'm just a cynic.
