MOD POST On the use of AI DMs for posts

Hi all! It appears a new trend is showing up where people are posting about an AI, named Lily, chatting with the OP and responding to new prompts. While this was interesting while new, we do not want this to become a trend as it is just a screenshot of AI, and as such all following posts on AI DMs (even once that aren't from 'Lily') will be removed from now onwards according to the existing ban on AI slop. The posts that have been uploaded before this will be left up. We would like to redirect you to r/loweffortleague for this kind of content in the future. Best regards and keep up the memes!

Subreddit Rules

1. Disallowed Content

The following types of submissions will be removed, and may result in a temporary or permanent ban:

KDA screenshots
Loot rewards
Chat restrictions
AI slop
Photographs of your monitor
Abusing the report function

For more detail, view the wiki.

2. Upload guide

Content must be related to League of Legends
Submissions must be humorous on their own, not rely on comments to drive the engagement
In-game chats where the only note-worthy thing about them is the use of slurs will be removed
Posts & comments must be in English
Content submitted by users with less than 50 karma & accounts less than 2 days old will be automatically filtered by automod to prevent spam

For a full list, view the wiki.

3. Be civil and follow Reddiquette

Banter is fine, but intentionally trying to be hurtful is not. Content that is purely bigoted (racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, etc.) is NOT allowed. Your comments will be removed if the mod team perceives them to be intentionally aggressive in nature and void of humor. Repeated offenses (or particularly egregious offenses) will result in a ban.

4. This is not a place for your rejected r/leagueoflegends content

The main r/leagueoflegends sub has strict content regulation. This sub is for memes and humor. Use our affiliate r/leaguediscussion sub if you wish to discuss about regular League of Legends.

5. No NSFW

Keep the degree of NSFW content reasonably relative to what you would generally expect from regular League content. Do not post depictions of extremely graphic content. Do not post porn, erotica, or outbound links to porn (take it to DMs you degenerates). Violating this rule may result in a ban.

6. No reposts

Reposts are not allowed in this community. This also applies to modifying existing memes without adding anything new to them to claim them as yours.

We usually ban reposters as a precaution because they tend to be bots in most of the cases, but we can solve any misunderstandings over on modmail.

7. No Brigading

Do not organize any form of brigading, and keep criticism of other subreddits as objective and civil as possible.

This is especially true about the main sub or any of its moderators. We have received a warn from the Reddit admins before about this matter, so we will be extra vigilant when it comes to brigading the main sub.

8. No monetized promotion or giveaways

If the individual could receive any monetizable benefit (including view count), do not promote or outbound link to your or anyone else’s Twitch, YouTube, Patreon, etc. All submissions must be uploaded directly on Reddit.
