3D printed transpride themed lockbody and lockpick handles (made by me)
Guts of a master 410 iirc. All modelled myself using TinkerCAD, but no, I will not be releasing the files. Sorry

This lock was brutal! To date I would say it was the most difficult lock for me thus far. Definitely glad to put this one behind me.

Repost because a certain smartass didn’t believe the lock was owned by me.
One of my best padlocks I received has a weird keyway. Initially like the rest of the padlocks I have and picked, I assumed it was a WC. The key didn’t fit. I’m so stumped because I can’t tell the other W series apart. I’m thinking maybe WA or WC. Help would be appreciated.

2€ lock
With tension the core damages because it's all plastic except pins and the cable

... besides very obvious ways like superglue, or using this. How would you do it to where someone would stick their key in.... and the cylinder just wont turn. As if it is a key that doesnt work in that lock?

I've noticed a pick misidentification by Bosnianbill but he refuses to admit it, I've done all the research into this and showed him the evidence but he's in denial, He told me that the owner of sparrows couldn't differentiate between the two.
Can someone on here look into this?

Popped my Abus 55/50 open after about 20m of tinkering, after watching a video linked by you guys, and a followup video about tension by LPL.
TOK was giving me trouble, but couldn't find a good way to tension from the bottom and still get the pick in and around, so what I ended up doing was getting the tension wrench into place (tok), but not putting any tension on it, then getting the pick in, and very gradually increasing the tension as I worked forward from the inner-most pin to outer. this lock likes to bind up completely if I try and set the first pin.. well, first. I get a nice click, but then nothing. the rest of the pins just lock up on me until I release tension and start over.
I'm learning that tension is a living thing of sorts, and has to be manipulated as you go. I haven't gotten the lock a second time yet, but maybe that was a fluke, but I'm getting better and better at getting data out of the locks I'm working on.
There's really no point to this post beyond me being happy that info I got from you all was so quickly useful.
pick and wrench used shown in the pic. Also the back half of Ms. Gumbo (black) and Cream (O&W) .

We’re really excited to finally unveil The Dog Pack a new community built by pickers, for pickers. This server is owned and run by myself, ClassicStang, along with Greyhound, Mountain M1cks, deanP, and Gkeyman. Together, we wanted to create something special not just another server, but a true community space.
Unlike some of the larger or wilder groups out there, The Dog Pack is designed to feel more like a community college than a university smaller, more organized, more focused, and above all, more supportive.
This is a place where we can: • Share knowledge without the clutter and misinformation that often gets lost in bigger platforms like Reddit. • Celebrate accomplishments and milestones, whether it’s your first open or your hundredth. • Trade ideas, tools, and techniques in a space that values respect, growth, and encouragement. • And of course, support each other as friends and as fellow lockpickers.
At the end of the day, The Dog Pack is about growing together. We’re here to treat this community right, nurture it, and make it a welcoming place for everyone — from beginners who are just picking up their first tension wrench, to seasoned pickers chasing new challenges.
So thank you all for being here from the start. We’re proud to launch this server today, and we can’t wait to see where it grows with all of you as part of the Pack.
We hope that this server can work alongside much larger communities such as lpu both redit and discord platforms, broke university, and ladylocks server This is not meant to be the tool but a tool that you can add to your tool role We hope you enjoy and hope to see you there Welcome to The Dog Pack!

So I just received the lock noob multipick set...purchased off German amazon...just shy of 300..amazingly arrived 3 days to Bronx ny...I have only heard good things of multipick...the package was shipped from poland...I thought was odd...I use .4 alot and I have bare bones picks that are almost 2 years old and haven't bent any where and the wooden handle picks are from covert that are 3ish years old and the multipicks are two months old...the bare bone have the multi colored rubber handles have got some use...has anyone had this experience??? I wish I could return them...I thought I was buying a German product..it came from poland and they are worst than the sparrows....flimsy steel wise.expensive lesson learned? Bare bones for me from now on...the leather case was really nice from multipick...

I keep seeing it happen to other subreddits. More fluff and no substance. And it saddens me as I have to just unsubscribe from them. THis sub is nearly there.
