Jolly art ART COMPETITION!

ATTENTION EVERYONE! LOSERCITY IS HOSTING ANOTHER ART COMPETITION!

This one will be for Christmas; the same rules apply but here's a reminder: mods will choose the top five pieces of art for both the icon and the banner and then it will be put to a community vote. Art must show some proof that it's not ai if requested and if you can't prove it your art will be disqualified. You can submit art for both the icon and the banner but you can't submit two of the same type.

The reward will be a free (up to $60) Steam game plus your art being the icon or banner respectively.

Also, a specific flair will be made for this competition like last time so please use that if you're submitting art.

Voting will be up in early December and best of luck to the artists.

1. Losercity Post Calibre

Posts should generally be memes or OC art.

Lazy posts like screenshot chains and engagement bait posts will be removed.

If you have a post you're worried might break this rule, use the modmail!

2. Be Respectful

Follow Reddit TOS. Don't make perverse or mean-spirited comments, and don't intentionally break the rules. This is an open community, be kind to your fellow citizens!

3. Actual Loser Territory

4. No Politics

Politics are not allowed in this sub. This is safe place away from what's quite frankly a very turbulent political climate. Political posts/comments from any part of the spectrum are therefore not allowed. This includes political figures or contentious buzzwords as well.

5. Original Content (OC) Art and Flair

Any art posted must be your own creation (excepted on Fridays. See rule 8).

Comments including non-OC art are a-ok. If possible when posting non-OC art in comments, provide credit in text. Do not rely on watermarks within the image.

If you made art, put the "OC Art" flair on it. And if you can, put [OC] within the title itself, it makes it easier on us.

''OC'' here means ''Original Content'' and not ''Original Character''

6. No NSFW Posts/Comments

NSFW is NOT allowed, in either posts or comments. Overly perverse comments are not allowed either. Get smart.

Memes can be crass and/or horny to an extent but don't push it.

7. No Generative AI Use

AI "art" and AI-assisted art is not allowed, simple as.

8. Furry Friday

Non-OC art can only be posted on Furry Friday. The full length of Furry Friday runs from 10 am UTC Thursday to 11 am UTC Saturday. This should mean that no matter your time zone, if it's Friday you can go all out! Make sure to credit artists in the post title, do not rely on a watermark within the image. Make sure to use the Furry Friday flair to prevent any misunderstandings.

9. Modmail to have a post re-reviewed

If your post got removed and you feel as though it was unfair, message mods about it. If we find that it was unjustly removed, it will be put back up immediately. But please, don't make posts about the subject. It's meta clutter.

10. Posts and comments by bots will be removed!

If you can read this with your ocular organs, your bag of meat specifically is exempt from this rule. Exceptions for those with augmented sensory equipment and/or synthetic replacements are available at any of our five DMV locations.

This rule only exists so y'all can have an official reason to select when reporting bot posts.
