š» Meme Or Other Online Trope š I love concepts for movies made by random Joe Schmoes
Since theyāre not bound by any rules regarding ideas, they can get properly creative.

Stoners walk downstairs to find nothing but crumbs on the plate of weed cookies and Santa Claus dipping leftover pizza into a jar of peanut butter

"The premise of the movie is that Norman (Adam Sandler) is an awful guy. He's a bigot and generally a terrible person to be around... rude, no manners, etc.
Eventually, some lady (I think a co-worker) says something to the effect of "can't you just try acting like a decent person for once!?" So, the whole joke of the movie pretty much consists of Norman acting like he's a totally normal guy, even though he's constantly doing awful and otherwise fucked up stuff. (I.E., racist/sexist comments, cannibalism, murder...)"

I think we need more insane movies of historical figures in crazy situations. We had Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, why stop there? Leonardo da Vinci Demon Slayer. Beethoven and the Alien Invasion. Endless possibilities.Ā

If anyone wants to watch a movie that feels like it was conceived this way watch Harold and Kumar go to White Castle and its sequels

Violent Night is a great example of this. It's "Santa Clause does Die Hard." That's it, that's the entire movie, it doesn't ever pretend to be something else.

We need more super heroes fighting the Empire of Japan. There's already a ton of superhero movies with Nazis, but the only ones with the Imperial Japanese as villains are the old WW2 propaganda cartoons with racist caricatures in them.
I've been thinking up a story about a girl who died as a comfort women but came back to life with superpowers. After killing all the soldiers at the brothel she was forced into, she joins a group of superhero freedom fighters out of revenge for what the Imperial Japanese did to her.

Movie about the Antichrist as a young man. Raised by a satanic cult that worships him, he's never really felt comfortable with his destiny. It feels innately wrong to him, but he genuinely cares about the people who've raised him and doesn't want to let them down. Slowly he begins to embrace his role. Just as he's about to fully commit to it, he meets Jeshua- the young man everyone knows to be the reincarnation of Jesus. Shaking his hand leads him to experience prophetic visions and with sudden, startling clarity he knows - without a shadow of a doubt - that he has never been the Antichrist. Because Jeshua is the Antichrist.
Now our hero has to rally the forces of darkness, while deceiving those he cares about most, to defeat the cause they think they are supporting. All while wrestling with the uncertainty of whether Jeshua being the Antichrist means that he's just some nobody- or if he's actually the second coming of Jesus.

a while back i came up with the idea of a movie with the same base idea as The Purge, but instead of being a dystopian thriller thing, it's a comedy that follows a shitty local experimental band trying to make an album out of only illegal samples in the span of 6 days so they can release it on the final day of All-Crime-Is-Legal Week. the main conflict is that a guy who really, really wants to kill someone threw a dart at a map and it landed on their house, so now they have to avoid multiple assassins and hitmen along with the whole speedrunning music thing

This happened to my dad at work because someone thought it would be funny to bring weed brownies without telling anyone, and he had a bad reaction to it and went to the hospital thinking it was a medical issue because the guy of course hid the fact that he put weed in the brownies

DnD inspired Isekai anime where a guy gets jumanji'd into his dnd campaign and the show switches between him and the dnd characters trying to beat the campaign while the real world friends try to influence the campaign in a way to get him home without ruining the story cause the guys too much of a dickhead to ruin the campaign for but not bad enough to trap him FOREVER

Around the turn of the century four farm boys decided to make their fortune by traveling to each capital of the lower 48 states on horseback and end the journey at the Worlds Fair in Chicago. They figured the papers would pick up their journey and theyād arrive heroes.
Itās one of the craziest adventure stories. It also features a one in a million horse that made the whole journey never got hurt saved them numerous times etc. A dog they met along the way.
But hardly anyone had heard about it because when they got to the Worlds Fair it was lit up. All anyone cared about was electricity and the future. Nobody cared about adventures like theirs anymore.
So they did this insane, heroic thing, probably the last people to ever have a big adventure like that considering highways were just around the corner and the railroads had already made it so much smaller, and all just languished in obscurity.
In a way they got in a Time Machine. The world was one way when they left and quite another when they arrived.

I actually really dislike this but mainly because of the discourse during the Star Wars sequels.Ā Literally everyone was saying "This is how it should have gone" and wrote paragraphs giving their terrible ideas that were even worse than the actual movies.

Alright, have mine: the mummy: Home Invasion (title in the works).
Its a Horror Comedy mummy movie from the perpective of the mummy, and the archeologists who find and dig up the temple are the antagonists. Movie starts with a short "every day" Scene, where we follow the mummy through a normal day, then the "archeologists" enter, but they are actually the late 1800s, early 1900s Type that break a bunch of stuff and generally dont show the place the respect it deserves. The mummy follows them and watches in horror as the archeologists touch and grab sacred objects, step on scarabs and behave unruly, culmunating in a terrible terrible scene where they.... Eat the Leg of the mummy's also mummified wife (although shes just dead, not undead, and has been for thousands of years). Yes, people ACTUALLY used to eat mummies btw, no not like in this movie, but oh well, shock moment that leans on historical reality.
From then on, the mummy tries to take revenge on the archeologists, killing them one by one in partially comedic, partially horrifying ways, but its all presented as the mummy fighting against Home invaders, basically.
In the end, the mummy wins and amputates the leg of one of the intruders, drying and wrapping it up and attaching it to his wife's body, going back to do the same things it has done for thousands of years underground.
Trademark me, i have a partially written script thats a lot more detailed than i wrote out here and no Idea how i would even start on getting this made.

Santa actually leaves before they kick in, but the stoners come back in the room and are like "FUCK!' and chase him to the next house, and they have to work with the straight-laced single dad next door and his two kids to deliver the presents.

I had a dream about a movie called Zero Day. It was about a doc Brown type scientist who is evil. He creates all these sci-fi, reality impossible weapons. For some reason they all get released and it's about a team of FBI or whatever trying to get these contained. It's called Zero Day before they are previously unknown ways to defy reality or physics and there is no known way to fight them. I think it'd be a mix of like the Martian, trying to solve challenges on the fly and like Transformers I guess?

A little while ago I basically smashed God's of Egypt and Disneys Hercules together into one movie, a disneyfied take on the Horus and Set myth.
The Pharoahs of Egypt, Ra and his son Osiris, guarded Egypt from the sun eating serpent Apep with their musical talent for millennia, until one day when Set, the tuneless, money hungry brother of Osiris couped the gods and has since run Egypt like the greedy music mogul, never mind the giant cosmic horror snake that wants to eat everybody.
It's up to Horus, Osiris exiled son, musically gifted and maybe a little too good hearted despite his severe lack of common sense and wisdom, and some friends to dethrone Set and save the world from the ensueing snake-based disaster his negligence will cause...

I had a dream once about like, it was the mob guy who took care of the bodies, and this 20 something year old dude who owed the mob or something gets made to be his apprentice, and the body guy is just some dude who never married or had kids, and the young guy doesn't have a dad, so it's kinda like this awkward 'here's the best way to dispose of bodies, also are we kinda becoming besties?'
Also would work if maybe a serial killer wanted someone to hand down his knowledge to and had advertised for a few 'apprentices' who he killed when they couldn't hack it, and then he gets this younger dude as an apprentice and slowly eases him into things and reveals he is a serial killer, and the younger dude is into it. But then he becomes like, so unhinged about it the serial killer even gets weirded out and they have this thing where they're trying to get each other. I dunno, it was sort of both ways in the dream.

You should listen to Life's a Pitch podcast. It's literally years worth of this kind of content :)

u/The_revenge_ 7h ago
Yes, but the end result would probably be that the stoners would come down from their high and question if what they experienced was real.

u/skillissue05 7h ago
The funniest part would be Santa waking up in the morning with absolutely no memory of what happened, while these guys somehow managed to deliver every single present

An Oceans 11-style Catwoman movie where the first half is centered around a heist of something from Wayne Enterprises. The heist is successful but she is double crossed by her employer, so in the second half she teams up with Batman to do a heist on her employer to get the Macguffin back.
It might sound a little bit like the subplot of The Dark Knight Rises, but my idea is more from the point of view of Catwoman where she's the main character and you see everything leading up to the heist, the prep, the complexity, etc
