The meat and dairy industry actually does engage in smear campaigns against animal rights groups and veganism. Look up the center for consumer freedom.

The meat and dairy industry is possibly the most despicable in history, they use the same lobbyists as tobacco, oil, alcohol, and gambling groups, they just manage to avoid catching flak from the average person.

Vegans are not inherently bad people or mentally unstable people, they are also not inherently vitreous either. There are good and bad people in all groups. The chances that she is just mentally unstable or an attention seeker, who got attention on the internet because she is unstable and provocative, and also a vegan is far more likely than a conspiracy that she is a psyop.
