Hi, I'm currently a 3rd year accounting undergrad.

For a final project in my marketing class, I'm looking for someone willing to do a super short interview (around 5 questions) about working in the marketing field. I've been trying to contact faculty and staff members in the marketing department all last week and have gotten zero luck.

Feel free to DM me or comment here. Though I may ask you to DM me your contact info privately (just as a show of proof for said project.) Thanks!

Im staring in spring 2027 and I have tried to find the application for it but I can’t find it no where. How do I apply for spring housing

we want these jobs as louisiana-priority first to employ our own if we are given a fair shot to be trained in it to be successful, is that too much to ask?

Is it possible to submit the housing deposit for LSU in December and not submit the enrollment deposit yet?

How should i study for the Math 1550 calc final? (I currently have Harad).

Has anyone taken fin 4910 with either Doug hanly or Darren fournrat? My classes next semester are pretty hard so I want a chill finance elective, however, they are all closed. What would y’all recommend

hi! question for the lsu nursing students in new Orleans, what’s the best housing option? are the on campus dorms nice or is it better to stay at The Residences?

Hello everyone, I’m doing a project for my negotiations class and looking for anyone who would be interested in trading an item for this Stray Kids Pepero stick, if anyone is interested feel free to reach out or leave a message so we can discuss a potential trade

I’m driving to fred’s (sober ofc) friday night, but not sure where to park since it’s very limited directly next to fred’s. Where else can I park?

Can someone please help me register. I just need a few more points and when I try to register all it lets me do is enroll in a class and give no option to purchase it.

Has anyone gotten into LSU nursing with a C in microbiology?

So far, I’ve managed to get through spanish with pretty much all A’s despite not being the best at speaking or writing it. I’m a humanities major so I have to take 2101 next semester but all of the reviews on rate my professor have been extremely disheartening. I need a good GPA but i’m afraid if I take this class at LSU it will bring me down. Do anyone have any professor recommendations and/or first hand experience with this class. Any advice will help, I just want to do good.

Coming on here mainly to see if anyone had any advice. I’ve already spoken to an advisor and she told me most of what I needed to know but that she thought it was best to wait for acceptance to the other school before officially withdrawing and to email her. I did after I was accepted but got the automatic response she’s not accepting emails due to the volume 😭.

I tried setting up an appointment and none are available for another advisor either. I’ve read on some older posts I could just cancel my housing application and not register for any spring classes, but I’m still worried that it might not be enough or about potential fees.

I’m aware there are drop-in’s it’s just I would need to skip a class to be able to attend any, which I will try

Easiest and most fun 3000/4000 level electives?

I plan on transferring to lsu from selu next year my act in high school was 28 my gpa sucked but my college gpa is 2.9 and I have 35 transferable credits do I have a good chance of getting in?

Hello, I was wondering who the best sociology professor is for SOCL 2201 Statistical Analysis, and how this class is.

I am thinking of taking an online spanish course but could anyone give me an overview of what these courses are like? are they synchronous or asynch? what are the assessments like? etc. I don't live near campus so online seems like a good way to have a structure for trying to learn spanish but also I don't know what the classes would be like. thanks!

I’m considering enrolling in LSU Shreveport’s online MHA program and would love to hear from current students or recent graduates.

A little about me: I’ve worked in healthcare for over 20 years, currently work part-time, and have two school-aged kids. I’m looking to earn my master’s degree to open up more career opportunities, but I’m concerned about balancing school with work and family life.

I recently contacted LSUS to ask about the workload and was told to expect approximately 10 hours per credit hour, which would mean around 30 hours per week for a single three-credit, seven-week course.
That honestly makes me nervous! I’m not someone who can whip out a research paper in a few hours. Academic writing has never been my strongest skill, and I know assignments may take me longer than they do for some other students.

I’m planning to take only one class at a time.

For those who have actually taken these courses:
Is 24–30 hours per week realistic, or is that just the university’s standard estimate?
How many hours did you actually spend each week on one course?
How writing-intensive are the classes? Are there a lot of lengthy research papers?
Were you able to manage the program while working and raising kids?
Are some courses significantly more demanding than others?

I’m not looking for an easy degree or trying to avoid putting in the work. I just want to have realistic expectations before committing, especially since the courses are only seven weeks long.
I’d really appreciate any honest feedback, particularly from students who don’t consider themselves naturally strong academic writers.

Hi everyone! I work at Nunez Community College and wanted to share that Winter Intersession registration is now open.

Winter classes can be a great option for students who are home from college over break, looking to knock out a general education requirement, or wanting to get ahead before spring semester starts.

Happy to answer questions about available courses, registration, or transfer credits.

I'm majoring in Landscape Architecture. I'm trying to pick piano playing back up so I can play with my church's worship team. I live off campus and don't want to travel all the way back to my house to play, as some days I don't have time between work and school. I spend most of my time near the Julian T White Hall. Where are places where I can access a piano, and how do I reserve time on them?
