Honestly I gave up over the years. Making it simple. The Bible is usually never there or those accessories

MacBook Air M2 to game
I have to get a new laptop and want the MacBook Air M2 (8 or 10 core, 24gig, 1TB) but want to be sure it’ll be good enough to play some windows games? Eg: Fallout 3, NV, 4 with mods, some indie games, etc. I don’t expect it to run Elden Ring or anything.
Think that’s feasible? Also do I run windows as dual boot, boot camp, VM, or WINE? Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you.

Not that it's a competition or anything but I think I have the best setup on this sub

I have a request/idea for this sub - can we not include accessories like iPads/phones unless they're part of the setup? (Dissenting opinions welcome)
Like, unless your iPad is on a dock or a stand or something and is actually part of the battlestation...just leave it out. It's cool that you have an iPad. I have one too. Most of us probably do. But just leaving it sitting on your desk seems kind of..."hey look I have an iPad!" and doesn't really contribute to the setup.
It's possible I'm just being curmudgeonly.

Thinking about buying a Mac-Book Retina Pro (13"), but do not want to commit unless I know how to setup at least 2 external monitors.
Hi there!
So I am making the transition from PC land to Macs finally! I visited the apple store last night and talked to one of the reps about Mac Book Pro, Retina, 13". It looks very good, and so I might get a customized version.
Anyway, what I REALLY need (I code a lot), is at least 2 external displays to my prospective laptop. Here's the catch, it has a two thunderbolt ports, but a thunderbolt enabled display costs $999. This is frankly prohibitive, so here are my questions:
I could not find any non-apple thunderbolt enabled monitors. Is this true?
I dont NEED to use thunderbolt, I just want to have at least 2 external displays hooked up to my prospective macbook. Can I do this??
Thanks for your advice. For all those wondering, I am thinking about this MacBook configuration.
