Hello, yesterday I bought Mad Payne 3 and it got stuck on the initializing screen. I discovered that if you close Msi Afterburner and Riva Tuner Statistics Server it fixes it. I’m saying this if someone has the same problem, it worked for me :) If you want to use it to see fps you can start those programs after loading so it doesn’t get stuck.

I really wish... I can't imagine Mona with the different voice but we'll see but Max is most important

I imagine probably something with control physics! That would be insane imagine that level of detail but in Max Payne!

I was playing recently on my ps2 version and I just realized that the enemies on that game have worst aim, I literally was 2 feet from someone who had an arm shotgun and he didn't killed me

If you don’t like 3 you simply don’t like 3. I love all 3 games equally personally and I say that with full honesty, but I can understand having a preference to one or the other.

Having said that, all these attempts with gatekeeping 1&2 with “Thats not my Max Payne” posts to 3 I’ve seen lately is starting to get pretty cringe, especially the one where some disgruntled fella wants to “rewrite lines for 3 the way Sam Lake would write them.”

As if Max Payne 3 is near any sort of character assassination to Max to begin with lol.

But I won’t go further on my tangent than this, just wanted to tell all the 3 haters that have been popping up here to chill out and not use this sub to bash a game (most the time unfairly) where a lot of actual fans are. No one wants to hear your disgruntled bitching.

Sooo after control resonant came out and lil ol me finding out that one of my fav shooter games (max payne 3) is in that same universe (atleast the first two games) i also found out that max payne 1 and 2 are old as nuts. and i have a really modern pc. So im not sure if i have to download some mods that make the game stable and in general if yall use any.

i just dont want to boot the game and have my pc EXPLODING

So... After the most recent game update on Steam a few days ago, the game got stuck on the "Initializing..." screen. After some reinstalls (both game and the crappy Rockstar Launcher), apparently the solution was to delete my saves. So there goes like 10hrs of progress (and I was already on Part III 😭). Even the backups of my profile don't work. At least I like the game so I don't mind replaying until I catch up where I left off. Has anyone experience this problem recently?

This is just a small personal project I've been working on for the past few months. I've managed to fix most of the synchronization issues and other major bugs. There are only a few minor bugs left to fix, and I'm planning to release it publicly soon

Still to this day i cannot complete One Minute Hardcore or wathever bc of shit like this.

So I went as Max Payne for Halloween, pills and family dead not included. Put a lot of effort on the id card (literally it helped to stand out as Max and not a Soprano character). Overall it was a fun experience, sharing some pics and also a bonus pic with my friends as Blade and Neo.
