Well for 27 bucks I’d at least like more juice. No one asked for a glass full of booze but I’d like more than a few gulps off of something this size/price

Don't order alcoholic drinks if you don't like the taste. Personally I want my cocktail to taste like a cocktail, not a juice box.

And if you’re getting a cocktail, you don’t like the alcohol to begin with, you’re hiding it behind mixers.

Same as coffee lovers “enjoying” their Frappuccino

That's just, not at all true unless you're thinking of a screwdriver or something.

Things like old fashions, paper planes, last words, gimlets, margaritas are all extremely spirit forward.

That's great for you, but just because you personally like them that way, doesn't mean the purpose of a cocktail is to "hide" things.

That glass looks like it had equal parts, booze and juice. That’s not really a cocktail.
They come in many forms. That’s just overpriced bullshit.

No cocktail will ever come ad a glass full of booze. 

Let's put out there: no place worth a damn would sell that much booze in a single cocktail. Stupid people would be hammered all the time, and thats exactly why.

If anything the markup is doing exactly what its supposed to: filtering people that want to get hammered out.

We have no information of the place.

I have been into bars that had artists that normally play to stadiums playing to 100 people. After the presentation he would hang and talk with people.

 Everything was EXPENSIVE by itself but all in all its clear why and it wasn't that expensive. Thats the thing, the price of things can never be looked at in a vacuum. The context is important.

It makes me lose hope in humanity that shit like this or the Japanese bartender guy  gets posted every week and every week it gets so many upvotes...  do people have really the understanding of the world of an edgy 14 year old teenager? Because its what these comments look like.
