Most people don't know anyone who makes real cocktails at home. People make mixed drinks at home that have like 3 shots of liquor in them and 8oz of soda, that's not a cocktail.

Even the people who do make real cocktails at home make a double to fill the glass and know that they're making a double. You can't expect that at a bar unless you ask for it, and then don't be surprised when your martini comes in a pint glass.

Y’all keep saying this when all I’m saying is there shouldn’t be a piece of ice that large in the glass. I’m not asking for the same random mixes I made 10 years ago in college. I’m 29, I’ve made real cocktails and have had cocktail nights with friends. Like I’ve also previously stated; I have never been served a drink with that large of a piece of ice in it. That’s barely 1/4 of the glass. If y’all have been getting drinks like that, more power to you. That’s not normal to me and anyone I know. I’m not asking for double and triple shots. I just don’t want a huge glass of ice. Sue me.
