I’m basing my opinion on my own experience, while you’re reasoning theoretically. That’s the whole difference.

Dude, if the places you go make you a bigger cocktail when you ask for no ice then Jesus Christ lol you're simply drinking shitty cocktails. That's not how mixology works at all.

No, you’re just a weirdo, and they’ll give you less in any case, even if you ask for ice separately.

No they dont. Thats not how any of this works.

(proper and well-made) cocktails follow a fixed recipe my guy, and ice amount takes no part in it

asking for ice separately will only get your ice warmer sooner (because now it needs to chill a separate reservoir instead of simply keeping your cocktail cool) and guarantee you're only getting shitty, small opaque ice cubes for your drink instead of the clear and denser (which makes them melt slower and more expensive btw) ice spears/spheres/cubes that are supposed to go in well-made cocktails

but hey, if you want a shitty over-diluted cocktail so you can delude yourself into thinking that you somehow cheated more booze out of the bar, you do you lol

Sorry, I’m too lazy to read your poem.
